General Hospital's Kathleen Gati celebrates her wedding anniversary in grand fashion

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen Kathleen Gati and her alter ego, Dr. Liesl Obrecht, on General Hospital. The last we saw her, she dumped Scotty (Kin Shriner), who promptly disappeared afterward. Obrecht herself has been gone almost as long, and no one has questioned where she’s been. Gati, meanwhile, has been enjoying her life to its fullest and recently posted on social media about an important event in her life.

The fans were happy

Gati shared a pic of herself and her husband, Michael Browers, in front of the Grand Canyon on Instagram. She captioned it, “Had a beautiful day hiking in Grand Canyon today to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary and our 18 years together! Love this boy!@michael_browers 💕.”

Love and congratulations poured in from her fans, with @debbiero2003 ecstatically writing, “Happiest Anniversary wishes to you and Michael!! Sending love, miss you both 😘 ❤️.” @re.blume understood the importance of Gati’s anniversary and shared an interesting fact with the comment: “💝Congratulations & all the best on your 13th flowery "anniversary". Because 13 years of marriage is also called is called a the "Violets-wedding". The Violets is a symbol of love, modesty, and fidelity.⚘️💍⚘️ .”

The fans want more Obrecht

Many of her fans lamented the fact that she hasn’t been on GH in a while. Illustrating that, @natalieclohossey responded, “Grand Canyon, grand marriage! Congratulations! You are very much missed on GH. I hope you return, but I am sure you shine wherever you are. Enjoy your anniversary trip!”

Another fan, @lll_oak_cliff, shared their appreciation for the actress, remarking, “Oh great to see you…I so miss my favorite actress on GH!!” @wbjcox32 lovingly added in the response, “Miss you on GH. We need you back, but glad you had a beautiful day with your Sweetheart.❤️.”

One follower seemed as if they were shouting their well-wishes from the rooftop with the reply, “HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO U BOTH 💓 AND MANY MORE TO COME IN D FUTURE. LOVE ❤️ U.👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨 😘💕🌹🍾🥂🥂🍷🍷🍹🍹.” A fan going by the handle @paulbroadwaynyc wrote, “Happy anniversary, may u have 100 more healthy and happy years together. Glad u had fun celebrating.”

And amidst all the well-wishers sending along their “Happy Anniversaries,” @rlavieg responded, “Happy anniversary! So upset we haven’t seen you back on GH. We need you there.” And @hotbori_iris55 couldn’t have been more blunt when they asked the soap star, “Awesome, HAPPY anniversary to you both, let me ask you, are ever coming back to General Hospital?”
