Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) was last seen on General Hospital in August when it was determined that he wasn’t a viable liver match for his sister, Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins). Huss, however, has been quite the busy actor, churning out several projects. However, lately, he hasn’t been heard from on social media, and when fans got worried, he returned to explain where he’d been.
He is indeed alive
On Instagram, General Hospital’s Adam Huss posted a picture with text that stated:

Be a lamp, a lifeboat, a ladder. Help someone’s soul heal. Walk out of your house like a shepherd. - Rumi
Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet who shared that quote. Huss also captioned it with some gracious words:
Thank you all for the concern. I say this with a chuckle, but - I AM ALIVE - despite the gossip mill saying otherwise. Just another reason I am taking a social media break. I do check this from time to time and I see your messages. I appreciate every one of them.
Thank you for caring and for being fans of whatever projects you're discovering of mine. I do not take that for granted. I have been busy filming and also taking time to figure out how to do exactly what this quote says, in spite of whatever else is going on in the world or comes my way. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving.
The quote is pretty straightforward, telling people that they should be one or more of the three items listed in order to help others out in life.
The fans were also very understanding, with @doggiemama0206 responding:
Take all the time you need. Social Media can be draining. So happy to hear you’re doing well. Catching up on your work on ReelShorts while I patiently wait for another movie. ❤️❤️
Another caring follower, @donna__means replied with the heartfelt:
So good to hear from you. It's understandable that social media can be draining. Rest up.... and come back when it feels right. Thank you for this wellness check 🥰 Take care Adam 💪❤️👍
Among his upcoming projects are a remake of the seminal horror classic, Night of the Living Dead, as well as the highly anticipated baseball-themed TV series, Heavy Hitters, with former GH actor Ted King (Luis Alcazar). Fans eagerly await Huss’ latest projects, and the actor continues to share his mutual love for his followers.
You can watch new episodes of General Hospital on ABC and Hulu.
