Candace Cameron Bure finds a babysitter for General Hospital's Cameron Mathison

As most General Hospital fans know, Cameron Mathison (Drew) has been moonlighting at Hallmark. His most recent Christmas movie was Home Sweet Christmas, which he starred in with Full House alum Candace Cameron Bure. On social media, the two shared a hilarious post, warming the hearts of all their fans.

A tale of two Camerons

Bure hilariously wrote on Instagram, “HEY FRIENDS! @candacecbure, here!👋🏼🥰 My buddy, @cameronmathison needs a sitter! Watch him for a sec?? Let me know how he behaved in the comments below.😉.” Her Hallmark bestie, Mathison, commented, “Haha🫣🫣🫣.”

Bure included a video in which she said, “Hi guys, I'm here with my friend Cameron.” Mathison waved and threw in a quick, “Hi, guys!” Bure continued, “I actually have to go do something really quick. Can you just, can you just sit with him for a second? Thanks.” She then took off.

A perplexed Mathison said, “Oh, okay. Uhm....” He seemed at a loss for words and took a breath as he tried to figure out what to say to the viewers. “Uhm, hi,” he started, continuing, “So…uhm…How you doing?”

He looked around for inspiration and asked, “You wanna play some games or something? Do you want to…” he trailed off and shook his head, trying to wrap his brain around what was going on. He continued, “Anyway, it's good to see you all,” and paused, whispering, “Awkward.”

He finally said to the audience, “I’m really okay. You don't need to babysit me. I probably can handle…” Bure quickly returned, stating, “Hey, okay, hi, I'm back. I'm back. I hope he was good for you?” She asked, pointing at Mathison, who looked dumbfounded.

He was well-behaved

Well behaved as usual in front of the camera, haha!😉 Great team, I love to watch you both on screen.☺️,” to which Mathison replied, “@i.am.michelle.bailey 🙏🏼🙏🏼.” @reaganbeaulieu commented, “@i.am.michelle.bailey Candace and Cameron together is pure magic!!❤️❤️.”

Another fan with the handle @liz_dalicandro reacted: “This is hilarious! Do you wanna play a game or something?😂.” Mathison playfully replied to her, “@liz_dalicandro 🤪🤪.” @angelique_mariel97 answered Bure’s question about Mathison’s behavior, writing, “Cameron behaved like a perfect gentleman!!😊.” @sblondelle lovingly reacted, “We could babysit him forever and never get tired. We love him.😍😍😂.”

The fans jockeyed between loving Mathison on Hallmark but despising GH’s Drew, with @dmancuso52 writing, “Really he is moving in on his nephews wife! GH, can we get him to be nice again please ❤️?” The fan was referring to the fact that Drew was having an affair with his nephew Michael’s (Chad Duell) wife, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), a story that’s divided many of the fans. (Revisit the time Jason (Steve Burton) beat the snot out of Drew.)
