Alexis and Heather on General Hospital

After the judge declared that Alexis would be held in Pentonville without bail, Alexis approached the bench to request being sent to Spring Ridge instead. The judge refused to budge, causing an outburst from Kristina. "No, you can't do this," Kristina cried.

Alexis asked Sam to get Kristina under control, but Kristina ran into her mother's arms. Alexis embraced all three of her daughters before she was taken away. When Alexis got to Pentonville, she was checked in, which included being photographed, handing off her jewelry, and being strip searched.

In the Pentonville visiting room, Ric met with Heather. Heather persisted in complaining about the quality of the Pentonville BLTs. Heather was glad she wouldn't have to deal with the bad food much longer, but Ric had bad news. "I'm sorry, Heather, but you're never getting out of here," Ric said.

Ric informed Heather that he had the results of her most recent blood work. There was only a negligible difference between the cobalt levels in Heather's blood before the surgery and after. "According to these results, you did not have cobalt poisoning, which means all those murders you did on your own accord," Ric reluctantly told Heather.

Heather was furious, insisting she stopped having dark thoughts after her latest hip surgery. She didn't understand how she hadn't killed as a result of cobalt poisoning when she couldn't even make sense of the Hook murders anymore. Ric suggested that maybe her new attitude was psychosomatic, and perhaps just the thought that her actions had been caused by cobalt poisoning could have changed Heather's attitude. Heather refused to believe that explanation.

Heather tried to accept Ric's news but was crushed that she wouldn't be free to be with Ace. Heather then remembered that Ric had just lost a grandchild, and she offered her sympathies. Ric was taken aback at how genuine Heather's words seemed.

When Heather returned to her cell, she was delighted to see that Alexis was her new cellmate.

Sonny opened the door to Natalia, who was holding a bottle of Champagne. She was ready to celebrate a new Deception deal, but Sonny was preoccupied with what was happening with Alexis. "I can't focus when I know Alexis is facing time for a crime she didn't commit. She's not capable of doing something like that," Sonny said.

Natalia encouraged Sonny to have faith in the legal system. "If Alexis is innocent, the authorities are going to figure that out. They're going to find the actual murderer," Natalia declared.

After Natalia left, Martin Grey arrived. Sonny thanked him for coming over, but Marty said he hadn't had a choice. He was acting on Brick's orders. Marty was surprised that Sonny needed him because he thought Diane was Sonny's lawyer. "You're not here to represent me. You're here to represent Alexis Davis," Sonny said.

Marty was surprised to hear that Alexis was representing herself. Marty knew it was a big case and was ready to take on the challenge. He promised Sonny he would do anything to win Alexis' case.

Later, Ric met up with Elizabeth at GH. Ric told her that he was there, waiting for confirmation on Heather's blood test results. When he got the labs back, Ric and Elizabeth noticed that an outside lab showed Heather with much lower cobalt levels than the hospital lab.

Elsewhere at GH, in a hallway, Sam and Kristina sat together and discussed the situation. Kristina was desperate to help Alexis but didn't know where to start. Sam said she had taken Kristina to the hospital so Kristina could take care of her mental and physical health.

Kristina told Sam how she has been feeling ever since the fall. "I feel like I am never going to be the same. Like I am broken," Kristina said. Sam assured Kristina that she wasn't broken and that getting professional help could heal her. When Sam walked away, Kristina called Sonny to tell him what had happened in court.

Kristina met with Felicia, who told her all about the support services GH offered someone who had just been through trauma. Felicia asked Kristina how she felt at that moment. "I feel upset, angry, sad, and guilty. I feel like a failure. I feel empty," Kristina admitted in tears.

Felicia listened to Kristina pour her heart out. "As a mother, one who has lost her own child, I want to help you get through this. You're not alone, Kristina," Felicia said. Kristina finally decided to try a support group and wanted Sam to hold her accountable so she would attend meetings.

Before Kristina left Felicia's office, she confessed more feelings. "I feel behind in my grief, like there's already so many things I should have been doing," Kristina said. Felicia told Kristina there was no timetable for grief, but at least she was seeking help. Kristina admitted to her guilt.

"My baby died because of a fall. A fall that happened because I was somewhere I shouldn't have been. Everything could have been different if I never went to Ava's hotel room. My sister Molly, she blames me for what happened to the baby. And my biggest fear is that I am responsible," a tearful Kristina said.

While Sam sat alone in the hall, Dante approached her. Sam told Dante what had happened in court. Dante was surprised when Sam said she was glad John was dead. However, he said he understood that people wouldn't miss John. Dante then asked where Molly was. "Probably upset somewhere because the focus is still on Kristina," Sam answered.

Dante pointed out that Molly was strong, but both Sam and Dante believed neither of her sisters was grieving the child they'd lost. They were only focused on being angry at each other. Sam told Dante that Michael had suggested they find the gun Alexis had tossed. Sam pointed out that she was an expert diver and might be able to find the gun at the bottom of the river.
