General Hospital YAPP Recap, July 7: Michael and Sasha remind us it's one year of 'Drillow'

Welcome to the General Hospital Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on General Hospital

It was a small moment that could have been much sweeter if we didn't get a reminder of how the last year just went on General Hospital. It's been one full year since Willow kissed Drew in the Q living room while everyone was outside enjoying Fourth of July fireworks. Well, almost everyone. Sasha had walked inside and spotted her now former BFF kissing her husband's uncle and didn't quite know what to do. While Brook Lynn reflected on the fact that she and Gio were still living under the same roof last year, Michael remembered that it was the beginning of the end of his marriage when they celebrated Independence Day on the Q estate in 2024. Sasha admitted seeing Drew and Willow kiss was an image she will never get out of her mind, and we can relate. We never wanted to see it either and now we can't unsee it. We also never wanted to see what resulted from that one forbidden kiss. From that moment on, Drew has been a creep, and the fan phrase "Ewww, Drew" was born. Since then, we have seen Drew stalk Willow and take over her life. She is now a zombie, doing everything Drew tells her to do, regardless of the consequences. She even believes him over her own child. The travesty that is Drillow will hopefully be over by July 4, 2026, and it can't come a moment too soon.
