Lucas told Elizabeth that Brad was blackmailing Portia, and the two later decided to get to the bottom of what she did that was extortion-worthy. Ava connected Portia with Nina so they could work together toward their common enemy, Congressman Cutthroat — aka Drew. Jason told Carly that if she died from being in Jack's orbit, he would use the same method that killed her to kill Jack.

Valentin said his goodbyes to Alexis, Anna, and Charlotte before being hauled off to Steinmauer Prison. Josslyn's WSB training continued, and Vaughn and Brennan worked hard to get her to quit, testing her resilience. Ric enlisted Liz's help to bolster his defense of Portia. Carly warned Jack about Jason's threat.

Lulu quit working at Deception after Chase threatened to have her arrested for breaking into Martin's hotel room if she didn't stay away from Brook Lynn. Maxie encouraged Lucas to connect with Marco. After a heated argument, Sonny collapsed in front of Ava, and she realized he had a serious health issue.

Emma and Gio concocted a plan to save the Quartermaine crypt, but Ned wouldn't heed their words. Later, Brook Lynn told them to talk to Monica about it. Stella connected Curtis with Tracy to battle Drew. Drew came in and warned Curtis things would get ugly, and stormed out.

Lulu vented to Cody about Dante not knowing he fathered Brook Lynn's child when they were teens. Ezra confronted Laura about her friendship with Sonny. He later advised Jordan to quit her job in protest. Drew told Ezra to use his political power as city councilman to raze the Quartermaine crypt. Curtis confided in Jordan that he was pushing Drew's buttons so that his ego will eventually cause him to screw up and reveal who he really is to the world.

Sonny told Laura about his heart condition, and she agreed to keep it quiet to protect Port Charles. Kristina realized she needed to stop Ava. Ric and Alexis called a cease-fire and agreed to stop provoking each other. Lucky invited Liz to take a trip to New York with him. Felicia tried to get Sasha to include her baby's father's medical history in the baby's file, as well as putting Jason on the birth certificate.

Jordan told Isaiah that she worried Laura would never see Sonny as a threat. Ultimately, she said she'd take Sonny and Laura's side over Drew and Ezra's, but if she were mayor, she'd work to shut down Sonny's criminal organization. Molly and Kristina buried the hatchet.

Brick gave Jason and Sonny intel on Soliski, the hitman who planted the bomb in Sonny's penthouse. The criminal was located in Toronto, and Jason and Sonny went after him. Brick brought flowers to Jordan but saw that she was hooking up with Isaiah, so he cautioned them that he had heard about questionable activities involving Isaiah's family and hoped Isaiah wasn't part of that.

Drew offered to pay for Kai's surgery so he could play football again. Ezra showed up at the Quartermaine crypt with bulldozers, and Trina, Emma, and Gio worked to stop him. Ultimately, Emma chained herself to the crypt door so the workers couldn't destroy the building, and later, Tracy joined her.

Sasha tried convincing Maxie to do business with Sidwell. Ava tried to convince Ric that Liz was using him for her own gain.

After a fight with Ava, Kristina found her car in the parking garage and located a cutting tool. Later, she panicked, realizing she did something wrong, and tried to contact Ava.

Jason and Sonny nabbed Solisky and demanded to know who hired him. Anna showed up at the Quartermaines' and shocked everyone by siding with Ezra. Ric and Liz were driving Ava's car, and the brakes failed.
