Tracy was surprised to see Ronnie at the Quartermaine mansion despite it being left to her in the will. Ronnie shot back with a snarky remark, saying, "It's my house. Monica gave it to me." Tracy warned Ronnie that even though she owned the house, the things inside the home were not hers. She believed Edward was rolling over in his grave because of the scam pulled by Ronnie. Monica's sister wanted to smooth things over, but more than that, she wanted Tracy to tell her more about Monica. She only knew her as a little girl, and she wanted insight into her life as an adult.

Ronnie further pleaded her case to Tracy and expressed a desire to be let into the lifetime of memories she shared with Monica. Tracy demanded that Ronnie back off because Monica chose to keep her out of her life. Tracy reached her breaking point and screamed at Ronnie, "I know in my bones, she did not give you this house." However, this did nothing more than escalate the situation between them. Tracy said that in all the time she spent with Monica every day, she never once mentioned Ronnie. She knew it was a scam, and she was determined to prove it.

ADA Turner arrived at Anna's office, but before she could say anything, Anna accused her of dodging her. Having the wrong address on the warrant to search the Quartermaine house was a critical and costly error. Turner was surprised to be blamed for the mix-up and accused Anna of being the "unnamed sources at the PCPD" named in the article. She felt sandbagged by Anna, but the police commissioner thought Turner only had herself to blame for the backlash.

Turner defended the instance as a typo, but Anna believed the error set her back. It gave the entire family time to cover their tracks and rid themselves of the weapon. However, Turner pointed out that Michael clearly wasn't the only person being zeroed in on because of another search warrant ordered earlier that day.

Portia asked Dr. Navarro if the results of her bloodwork with back yet. Since it was a geriatric pregnancy, she needed to know officially before she proceeded. Portia paced in the hospital halls, and Navarro confirmed the pregnancy at around seven weeks. She was intimate with both Isaiah and Curtis in that time frame, so it was a toss-up for who the father might be.

Jordan noted the progress Drew had made since getting shot. He asked her to come as a last chance at saving Curtis from prison. Drew explained to Jordan that he had every reason to believe Curtis was the man responsible for his shooting. He said if he told the police everything he had, Michael wouldn't be the prime suspect anymore, and attention would be shifted to Curtis.

Jordan couldn't understand why, if Curtis really shot Drew, he wouldn't want him held responsible. He was willing to overlook it, provided Jordan used her influence as commissioner to push for Michael's arrest. Jordan refused to be drawn into any blackmail scheme by Drew and hoped he didn't believe his lies. Drew wanted Michael arrested immediately for the attempted murder, and if Jordan pulled strings for that, Curtis would remain a free man. Jordan flipped the script on Drew and asked what Drew dangled over Willow's head to get her to give him a second chance.

Jordan continued to berate Drew about how he got back in Willow's good graces. She put the pieces together that Drew planned to frame Michael for his shooting, which would get Willow custody of her children. She gave Drew an emphatic, "hell no" to helping him. He told Jordan to remember the moment as his final moment to save Curtis. She was surprised at his maintained arrogance and noted the shooting changed nothing.

On her way out of the hospital, Jordan bumped into Portia in the middle of her conversation about the time of conception.

Curtis and Michael met at Aurora, and Curtis questioned whether Michael was upset about Lulu running a story about Drew's shooting. It painted Michael as a primary suspect in the crime, but he understood it came with the territory. Michael insisted that he had nothing to worry about because of his alibi. Curtis and Michael laughed at how the police messed up the address, and they were stunned that this error occurred. Michael also expressed gratitude that Ronnie came into their lives when she did because she saved the family in that moment.

At Bobbie's, Sonny asked Lulu why she was going after Michael in prison. While Michael may have been understanding of Lulu's position, his father was not. She defended her piece in the paper and reminded Sonny that she even included the police messing up by using the wrong address. Lulu also urged him to recognize that people knew Michel was a suspect and had a motive to kill Drew. Sonny didn't want to hear her out and asked, "Lulu, you've always been fair and unbiased. What's changed?"

Sonny wouldn't listen to Lulu's explanations about the article. She tried to remain objective, but he still cited people caught in the crossfire. She assured him that he and Michael were his family, so she wouldn't intentionally target them. Lulu explained, "I genuinely hope Michael isn't guilty. I want to believe that he didn't shoot Drew, but I can't report that he didn't until it's proven to be true." Sonny looked forward to a future retraction once the truth was revealed.

Elizabeth apologized to Willow for letting Michael into the house without notice. She hoped things went smoothly, and Willow was appreciative that it happened. She knows what Michael was thinking, and she realized there's nothing he wouldn't do.

Elizabeth believed Michael wanted to cool things off with Willow and focus on the kids. Willow was ready to meet Michael halfway because what's important for them was to focus on the kids.

Anna and Turner went over the inconsistencies in Nina's story, which blows the entire alibi for Willow. While it didn't make her guilty, it was a glaring red flag. She lived with the Quartermaines in the past, and she had the motive. They believed it to be worth a search, and the warrant would be approved soon.

Willow stopped by Drew's room and urged him to take things easy before his release. She told him about her upcoming visit with the kids, and his excitement disappeared as soon as she told him that it was facilitated by Michael himself. He doesn't want her to take the risk because Michael could have anything planned. She needed to abide by this to see her kids. This was the only way. Drew attempted a manipulation to prevent her, but she wanted to keep to Michael's terms.

Tracy arrived at Bobbie's and hoped her former stepdaughter had something to rid their lives of Ronnie. Lulu handed her a file that contained everything Tracy needed to know about Monica's long-lost sister. Unfortunately for Tracy, Lulu came up mostly empty-handed. There was nothing salacious for her to use. Lulu couldn't believe Ronnie wasn't hiding anything, even if Tracey didn't want to hear that.

Michael returned home and thanked Ronnie for keeping the police at bay, but she questioned what would've happened if she hadn't spotted the clerical error. He gave Ronnie a history lesson about Drew's vendetta against the family and how he tried to have the crypt relocated.

Turner was supposed to meet with Diane, but she found Sonny waiting for her instead. He issued a warning to her that if Michael were charged for the shooting, Turner would never prosecute again. She questioned if that was a threat, and he assured her that he wouldn't. He reminded her about the conflict of interest, and she was too compromised to be in charge of this case if it went to trial.

Jordan informed Curtis about the offer made by Drew, but it didn't surprise him. Jordan and Curtis knew that the investigation against Michael could fall apart at any time and point the finger back at Curtis. However, Curtis was unafraid and glad to be out from underneath Drew's blackmail cloud.

Portia arrived at Elizabeth's on the verge of a breakdown from the pregnancy news. She asked if they were alone, which was perfect timing. She needed a friend and dropped the bomb about the pregnancy on her. She was concerned whether she and Curtis would stay together and be miserable for the baby, or they'd divorce and fight over the baby. However, she explained to Elizabeth that Curtis might not even be the father, which floored her.

Before Portia could tell Elizabeth about the second potential father, Anna pounded on the door. She was primed with a search warrant. Elizabeth left a voicemail for Ric and begged him to help her with this. It was clear Anna had found Edward's gun, and she requested Elizabeth's presence at the police station.
