First responders arrived at the crash site after Ric realized his brakes weren't working. Kristina heard the sirens from her car and prayed aloud that the sirens weren't for Ava's car. "Please don't let that be Ava," she kept repeating.

Kristina pulled over and walked to the scene of the accident, where she was shocked to see Ric bleeding profusely from his head. Lucky came up behind her in time to hear Kristina say, "I don't understand. It was supposed to be Ava."

"What do you mean it was supposed to be Ava?" Lucky hesitantly asked. A frantic Kristina barely heard him. "I saw it was her car. It was her car in that parking spot. I checked before I cut the brake lines," she babbled. Lucky immediately told Kristina to run back to Charlie's and go in through the back door.

"As far anyone knows, you've been doing inventory all day," Lucky told her. Kristina thought about it for a few seconds and ran. Once alone, Lucky saw the paramedics carry Elizabeth out of the car on a stretcher. He ran to her but the police stopped him.

At GH, Lucas worked on Ric and assessed that he had a massive amount of internal bleeding and needed emergency surgery. Isaiah worked on Liz and told Lucky to stay out of the way.

When Molly and Kristina arrived, Lucky told Molly that Ric and Kristina were being assessed but were in bad shape. The women were surprised to hear that Liz had also been in the car.

Molly ran into Cody at Charlie's and reminded him about punching Lucky and winding up behind bars the last time he was there. Cody admitted he wasn't proud of the incident, but Mac insisted on them meeting up for beers, so Cody was waiting for his dad.

When Mac arrived, he was pleased to see that Cody hadn't gotten into any bar brawls. Molly stayed at the bar when Mac and Cody took a table. Kristina soon arrived and tried to play things cool as Molly made small talk. Kristina kept her cool when Mac invited the Davis sisters to have a drink with him and Cody.

Before Molly could get too comfortable, she got the call about her dad's accident and rushed to GH with Cody and Kristina by her side.

Alexis walked in on Drew's meeting with Kai. When Drew received a call, he stepped into the hallway to take it. Boyle was on the other end to tell Drew there was a "situation" at the Quartermaines. "Get it done. I don't care how you do it," Drew demanded.

Kai left when Drew returned to his office, giving Drew the opportunity to tell Alexis that Willow and her kids were moving in with him. Alexis immediately told Drew it was a mistake. She thought it was too much change for Scout in such a short amount of time.

"Drew, you can't just change out a family like you would a tie if you find the right one," Alexis reasoned, but Drew didn't care. He was sure that Willow and her kids would be just what Scout needed. Drew informed Alexis he wasn't asking for her permission. Willow, Wiley, and Amelia were moving in with him, and that was that. "These living arrangements? They're happening," he declared. Just then, Kristina called to tell Alexis about Ric's accident, so Alexis rushed to the hospital to be with her daughters.

Both Ava and Alexis arrived at GH at the same time, but Molly didn't have an update for them. Isaiah asked to speak to Lucky in private. Elizabeth was going to be okay, but she had a broken leg that would need surgery. Alexis then took Ava aside and told her that she needed to leave because she was upsetting her daughters.

Lucas finally had an update on Ric. He was stable for the moment, but the doctors were doing everything they could to make sure he survived. Upstairs, Lucky sat by Elizabeth's bedside and told her he was still in love with her after all these years. Suddenly, Liz opened her eyes and

At the crypt, Anna clipped Emma's chains and arrested her before driving her to the PCPD. The sheriff then attempted to arrest Tracy, but Yuri stood in front of her as Tracy ordered the men to leave. Trina turned the camera on again so Tracy could make an impassioned speech.

"Good people of Port Charles. My father, my mother, and my brother are all laid to rest here after spending an entire lifetime dedicated to this community. This is their final sanctuary," she said. She blamed everything that was happening on "Congressman Cutthroat Cain."

Boyle wasn't moved and still had the police arrest Tracy and Yuri. They even went so far as to lift Tracy off the ground while Trina live-streamed the whole thing. Diane soon arrived with a cease and desist order, freeing both Tracy and Yuri. Boyle asked under whose authority the order came. "Dr. Monica Quartermaine," Diane replied.

Boyle looked over the order and declared it legit, so Tracy, Yuri, and everyone else left. Trina was still there when Kai came by to tell her how much he enjoyed her live stream. "Edgy stuff," he said.

Boyle later showed up at Drew's office with the bad news. He wasn't able to tear down Drew's family crypt and disturb the final resting place of Drew's father, grandparents, and son. "The crypt isn't going anywhere, and your days of being a Quartermaine are over. Moving forward, you are legally obligated to use the name Drew Cain," he said.

"How the hell did Tracy manage that?" an outraged Drew asked. "Oh, Tracy didn't. Monica did," Boyle said.

Anna brought Emma to her office and told her she didn't even recognize her anymore. Emma admitted that's because she had grown up. She was a college student now living her own life. "I've got freedom to push the boundaries, to break some rules, and to make some mistakes," Emma declared.

Emma was on a tear. "I was to do some good in this world, and a huge part of that is standing up and fighting for the things that I believe in," she continued. Anna still argued that the Quartermaine crypt was not her problem, but Emma was shocked to hear that from her grandmother. "Do you not spend every single day of your life dedicated to helping people and making sure that they are safe?" she asked in tears.

Anna agreed that she did indeed help people. The difference was that she did it legally, and Emma had been breaking the law. Emma reasoned that breaking the law was sometimes the only way to get attention. "It's very easy to believe at your age that you can save everyone who needs saving, but that's not necessarily the case," Anna pointed out.

Emma then surprised Anna by claiming she was passionate about the crypt because of her mom. Emma said that Robin had always told her the story about how Edward saved her life when he gave up a single dose of serum that could save her, but he ultimately died. "I am not going to watch a man who made that sacrifice for me have his final resting place torn down like it's nothing but trash, Grandma," Emma cried.

Anna said she understood, but Emma wasn't done. She also wanted to save Alan Quartermaine, the man who took care of Robin when he was the one to tell her that she was HIV positive. Alan was also the person who inspired her to pursue a career in medicine. Anna finally understood why this cause was so important to Emma.

Mac soon walked in and asked to speak to Anna in the hall. "Emma may be trouble, but she's good trouble," Anna told Mac. "I don't think you'll feel the same way once you take a look at this," Mac replied as he handed Anna a file.

Anna returned to her office and said, "My newfound respect for you was certainly short-lived." Tracy and Gio interrupted the moment when they arrived to tell Emma her sacrifice was not in vain. However, Anna had to take Emma to lockup anyway now that she knew of her granddaughter's prior arrests.

Sonny and Jason kept their guns trained on Selitski. He swore he did not know the name of the person who hired him. Jason cocked his gun, leading Selitski to seemingly give in. He told Sonny to open a drawer, but the second Sonny turned his back, Selitski went after Jason.

Jason managed to knock Selitski to the floor, where he hit his head and died. Sonny and Jason were no closer to getting the information they wanted than when they arrived. Jason grabbed all of Selitski's communication technology, hoping they could find something, but there were no guarantees.

On the plane home, Sonny said he felt that Selitski's death was a warning to the person who hired him. Jason pointed out that the person who hired Selitski was just going to hire someone else. "We just have to be ready for the next attack," Jason said. Sonny also mentioned delaying his heart surgery, but Jason argued that was a bad idea.
