Molly went to the Quartermaine stables to take a chance with Cody, but walked in on him and Ava kissing. Molly tried to hightail it out of there, but Cody stopped her. In front of Ava, he admitted the truth. Ava was outraged when he said he was getting paid to go after her.

Cody said Kristina paid him to get Ava away from her dad, and he agreed to it because Kristina told him Molly hated Ava and Ric together. Ava clarified what she heard, told him to have fun with “high and mighty,” and left. He reiterated to Molly that he did it for her and was hoping for a bit of forgiveness, but she told him not to do her any more favors and left. Cody got a call from Lulu, who told him to get to GH because Maxie and his family needed him.

Still upset from her conversation with Elizabeth, Kristina had just gotten home when Ric knocked at the door. Ric said he had business to discuss with Alexis, but Kristina told him, “Your business is with me, you son of a bitch.”

Kristina said she was sick of Ric’s digs and that there were no more secrets to protect. She acknowledged accidentally cutting his brake lines instead of Ava’s and told him she knew they’d been blackmailing her mother ever since. Ric was surprised Alexis looped Kristina in because of her “volatile and, oh, so impulsive nature.” He went on to berate and belittle her, and, without a hint of self-awareness for his own transgressions, said prison should be her next stop.

Kristina owned up to the fact that what she did was wrong, but asked Ric to remember she lost her baby and Sam last summer, and then Michael almost burned to death. After multiple traumas, she said she snapped and wasn’t in her right mind. Ric told Kristina that he understood, but reminded her that Molly went through all of those same things.

Ric yelled about how selfish and self-centered she was for not even considering what Molly and TJ were going through, as well as trying to steal their child for herself. Not letting up, Ric claimed Molly would have lost the child either way because of Kristina. Looking like she was going to snap, Kristina clenched a sharp letter opener from the desk in her hand. Instead, she kept her emotions in check and put the letter opener down.

Kristina told Ric that he was wrong about everything and that he kept pitting her and Molly against each other. When she said she and Molly were stronger because they finally processed and grieved the loss together, Ric mocked her. Kristina went on to admit she didn’t want Molly to know how she acted recklessly and almost killed him, but she also didn’t want Molly to know that her “slimy, wretched, pathetic excuse for a father has been blackmailing her own mother.”

Ava arrived. She called Ric an idiot and said they’d both been played because Kristina, “the little viper,” hired Cody to seduce her and drive a wedge between them. Kristina said she did what she needed to to get them to stop blackmailing her mother. Ava expected some kind of apology and gratitude from Kristina, who wasn’t grateful for Ava holding her freedom over her mother’s head.

When Kristina said, “You hateful, soulless, murderous bitch, you are the one who should have been in that car,” Ava was ready to go, but Ric intervened, citing the argument as pointless because the blackmail was officially over. He said the blackmail wasn’t sustainable, and told Ava she should talk to somebody about her spending habits. Ric then let her know the “frozen” bank accounts were all empty, including the secret Swiss account she was funneling money into.

Ric and Ava argued about who deserved the money more. Ava wanted it back, but Ric said he bought $10 million worth of treasury bonds, which he couldn’t touch for a month until they matured. At that point, he claimed he would be able to collect all of the clean and laundered money plus interest from an account only he owned. Ava yelled about him betraying her, but he said she betrayed him first. As he began to leave, Ava grabbed a weighted ball from a sculpture on the desk and struck Ric unconscious. He fell to the floor as Ava held the bloodied ball and Kristina stared in shock.

Alexis met Drew at the Port Charles Grill. She was hoping cooler heads could prevail so they could find a path forward to support Scout. Drew claimed his only concern was for doing what was best for Scout. As Alexis was talking about the importance of family support, a process server came to the table to serve her with a restraining order from Drew.

As Alexis read the order mandating that she couldn’t be within 500 feet of Scout, he let her know restraining orders had also been issued for Molly, Kristina, Danny, and Rocco. When she asked, “What the hell is wrong with you?" Drew claimed nothing would stop him from protecting his daughter, and the law was going to make sure of it.

Drew ranted on, saying Alexis was going to try to take Scout away from him, she may have even been the one behind drugging him (which he knew wasn’t true), and that she was the problem, not him. He continued to antagonistically escalate the argument until Alexis finally told him to stop it and shut up. She vowed not to allow him to fight his battle with Jason through the children.

Alexis went on to accuse him of being an abusive parent because his utter neglect of the well-being of Scout was reprehensible and cruel. Molly walked in as Alexis promised to fight Drew with everything she had. Drew said he was Scout’s only living parent and a congressman, and Alexis was a known drunk who was barely a year from disbarment.

Drew said Alexis wouldn’t see Scout again until she was 18, if Scout even remembered her or if she was even still alive at that point. Alexis said he was going to be the one who was forgotten because, when she was through with him, it was going to be like he never existed. Alexis added that if Scout ever asked about him, she would lie and say he was a good man because he wasn’t going to be around to prove her wrong. Molly asked Alexis to take a breather outside.

Drew told Molly she'd be getting her restraining order soon. She asked, “What would you tell Sam if she were here?” He said he would tell her that he was doing what was best for their daughter, but Molly said he was doing what was best for him, that Sam would hate him for it, and, one day, Scout would hate him for it, too. Saying he didn’t have to listen to her, Drew walked out.

At another table, Laura met with Martin, who was concerned that he had just made a very dangerous enemy in Drew, and filled her in on what had happened with Stella. He lamented not being smart enough not to get involved with Drew in the first place. Laura commended Marty for parting ways with Drew, to which he humorously responded, “Jinkies, I’m glad you feel that way because I’m going to have to continue to freeload off of your generosity.”

Martin talked to Laura about how important it was for her to beat Ezra Boyle because, otherwise, Drew’s power would go completely unchecked. They watched the confrontation between Alexis and Drew. Martin was worried about Alexis threatening Drew, where others could hear. Laura said she didn’t hear anything, and Martin agreed that he didn’t either.

Lulu and Brook Lynn were taking care of the kids at Maxie’s house. Brook Lynn got a call and had to let Lulu know they were moving Maxie to a coma care facility in Boston immediately. Felicia wanted them to bring the kids to the hospital so they could say goodbye before they left. They were both worried and scared, but tried to remain controlled so they could be ready to do what was needed to help Maxie and her family.

At the hospital, Lucas talked with Felicia, Mac, and Spinelli. Lucas had to share the unfortunate update that Maxie was now in a coma and would have to be moved to a long-term care facility. He said he was still friends with Dr. Staver, a former colleague at Boston General who ran the best coma-care program in the country, and he had already received approval for a transfer.

Spinelli was upset about the thought of Maxie having to go far from her family, but Lucas assured all of them that the program in Boston had the resources and specialized staff to attend to Maxi’s needs far better than they could at General Hospital.

Spinelli went to sit with Maxie. By her bedside, he explained she was getting transferred. He declared his love and pleaded with her to fight, wake up, and come home. Later, Maxie’s family and loved ones gathered at the hospital. Brook Lynn and Lulu went in to see Maxie together.

Speaking to Maxie, Brook Lynn said they were together on their very best behavior. Holding Brook Lynn’s hand, who was holding Maxie’s hand, Lulu said they promised Lucas they wouldn’t fight, and Maxie was the only one who could make that happen. They promised to take care of the kids and Spinelli, and wanted her to focus on getting better and coming home.

Mac, Cody, and James went in to see Maxie. Mac reminded her how she always beat the odds. James recounted when he broke his arm, and Maxie had given him Nathan’s badge, which James said helped keep his arm from hurting. James put the badge in his mother’s hand and said it would help her. Felicia said a final goodbye in front of the elevators as Lucas was leaving to transfer Maxie to Boston.

At the Five Poppies Resort, Britt went to Jason’s room to ask him why he was still there. Jason said he didn’t get what he came for, but she let him know he needed to leave immediately. He wanted her to tell him what she was doing there. She lied by saying she was living in paradise and her Huntington’s was in remission, but Jason could tell she was holding something back.

Letting a bit of her jealousy and resentment show, she chastised Jason for letting “that piece of Eurotrash” Greta climb all over him. “I bet you made her feel that you're someone she can count on, someone she can believe in, right? Someone who accepts her, flaws and all. Til Carly calls, of course and then you’re gone in a flash.”, she said. He apologized for what he did to Britt before and let her know, now, he was only “working” Greta.

Britt pretended not to know that Greta was told by Pascal to pump Jason for information, but Jason knew what Greta was doing and figured she had some connection to what was going on with the WSB. As Britt continued to evade the truth, Jason asked her to leave with him. He offered to take her anywhere she wanted, set her up with whatever she needed, and would even visit her if she wanted.

She said he wasn’t helping because it hurt her to see him, and she wanted him to leave. They got close enough to kiss, but didn’t. He said he would leave if she would take the burner phone he had to give her. He told her to call when she needed him, and he would show up. She kept the burner phone, but snarkily remarked that he shouldn’t tell Carly about it and left.
