5 General Hospital men who would be better for Willow than Drew (and 5 who would be just as bad)

General Hospital couple Willow and Drew have long overstayed their welcome on the soap. The vast majority of fans clamor for the relationship to end every day, yet for some reason, they remain in each other's orbit. Drew's shooting served as a chance to separate Willow from the Congressman. However, what resulted was Willow becoming more entangled in his web than she had been before. To make things worse, Willow and Drew recently married, legally tying her to the worst mistake she's ever made.

There are several men on the canvas that Willow could find genuine love with, and some of them she's been with before. There's no shortage of eligible men in Port Charles, so wasting Willow's romantic potential on Drew is not doing any favors for the character. On the flip side, there are many males in town who could do the same amount of damage to Willow's life, if not more, and these names she should absolutely steer clear of.

5 General Hospital men for Willow to pursue

1) Harrison Chase

Chase is honestly the most likely landing spot for Willow once her marriage to Drew comes to an end. He's advocated more for her than anyone else, and he's put his own marriage to Brook Lynn in jeopardy to do so. Chase has risked his integrity as a police officer in his quest to prove that Willow didn't shoot Drew, and all signs point to a reunion down the road. Once Willow breaks free from Drew's chokehold, it's a safe bet that she and Chase will be immediately drawn to each other.

2) Isaiah Gannon

Willow and Gannon work at the same hospital, and he's already proven that he has no qualms with mixing business with pleasure. He's already crossed the ultimate line by sleeping with the co-Chief of Staff, so getting involved with one of the nurses shouldn't be too taboo. He's embroiled in drama with Portia, but once that wraps up, if he's not the baby's father, Willow is a new option for the doctor to pursue.

3) Damien Spinelli

Maxie is in a coma, and there's currently no realistic timetable for her recovery. With Maxie incapacitated, Spinelli is essentially single, and instead of moping around The Brown Dog with Jason, he could begin to look for love in other places. Although Willow isn't the typical choice for Spinelli, they could still make it work. His unique brand of charisma and charm could easily draw in a broken, defeated Willow searching for another shot at love.

4) Cody Bell

Cody has had a rough go at love since first arriving in Port Charles. The most promising option was Sasha, but that was instantly squashed when she was revealed to be his cousin. Lately, he's been courting Molly, or at least trying to. However, that pairing has moved at molasses speed and has several factors working against it. Cody is clearly drawn to women with boatloads of drama and baggage, and there's nobody who brings more of both to the table than Willow. It's a messy match made in heaven.

5) Sonny Corinthos

If Willow truly wanted to send Michael (and Drew) over the edge, finding herself romantically entangled with his father, Sonny, would be the best route to take. Carly's reaction, which would be completely nuclear, is enough of a reason to want to see this come to fruition. Although Sonny is highly unlikely to ever consider bedding his son's former wife, stranger things have happened in Port Charles.

5 General Hospital men that Willow should avoid

1) Michael Corinthos

It's best to start with the most obvious man in town that Willow should avoid reconnecting with at all costs. She and Michael had their moment, but so much has happened since their divorce that there's almost no way to move forward without it reverting back to a toxic place. There's no trust between them, and although it's easy to imagine the two doing it "for the kids," that's not a compelling enough reason to revisit this failed marriage.

2) Jenz Sidwell

Willow has a history of being drawn in by men who are equal parts charismatic and dangerous. There's nobody who fits that bill in Port Charles more than Sidwell. His brand of villainy is somehow quite charming, and he uses it to manipulate women across town, namely Lucy Coe. Once things formally fizzle between Willow and Drew, it's entirely possible for Sidwell to take advantage of her despair, but it's the last thing she needs. This would end up being more insufferable than her and Drew.

3) Ric Lansing

Ever since returning to town, Ric has tried to win back the heart of Elizabeth, but she hasn't given him the full green light. His twisted romance with Ava was short-lived, and he's eventually going to open himself up to someone else. He already served as Willow's attorney, so he knows the ins and outs of her life, and he could use that to manipulate her. In the past, Ric's shown an ability to pull the wool over his beloved's eyes, and Willow's someone who doesn't ask enough questions.

4) Jack Brennan

Jack is just as ruthless as any of the other men previously listed. The only difference is that he masquerades as a good guy, and most people haven't called him out on it. He has completely upended Josslyn's life, and the effects have trickled down to her mother. Jack uses someone's weakness as a means to exploit them to his own advantage, and Willow is someone with an extra sensitivity to that. She's been in a cult, and whatever she is doing with Drew is quite similar. In the clutches of Jack's murderous charm, Willow could be in more danger than she is now.

5) Dante Falconerri

The biggest reason these two shouldn't ever try a shot at romance is that he's her ex-husband's brother. However, if it's possible ot ovelrook that, his profession is a big example of why they should never get involved. Unlike Chase, Dante isn't the type who is ever going to look the other way. He's ready to throw the book at his own children to follow the law. Willow finds herself in far too much legal trouble to ever become intimate with a by-the-book police detective like Dante.
