General Hospital's T.J. has a brand new face, with soap opera newcomer Tajh Bellow taking on the role formerly played by Tequan Richmond.
Fans who checked out General Hospital's latest preview were surprised to see a mystery person walking Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) down the aisle. As it turns out, the character is actually T.J., who is now being played by Tajh Bellow.
As Soap Central previously reported, the character's former portrayer, Tequan Richmond, landed a lead role in BET's Boomerang last month, prompting rumors that GH would likely recast the character or, given that he has rarely appeared in storyline in the last year, write him out. It seems the show chose the first option, much to the relief of T.J. fans.

GH marks Bellow's daytime debut, but he has made several appearances in primetime series like Bosch, Filthy Preppy Teen$, The Middle, K.C. Undercover, and Girl Meets World. Fans can check out some examples of his work in this demo reel.
According to Soaps In Depth, Bellow is scheduled to make his first appearance on Tuesday, November 20.
