General Hospital's T.K. Weaver (Danny Morgan) is thrilled to be the winner of this year's Young Artist Award for Best Performance by a Recurring Young Actor in a TV Series.
Great news for fans of General Hospital's T.K. Weaver (Danny Morgan): the child star won this year's Young Artist Award in the category Best Performance by a Recurring Young Actor in a TV Series.
The thrilled performer's excitement was contagious on his Twitter feed: "We won! We won for GH! Huge win for daytime television kids and daytime TV as a whole. Thank you all for your love, positivity and support."

Weaver, who was also nominated for his performance in a Subaru Impreza commercial, was pretty sure he wouldn't win at the Young Artist Awards for his work on GH. So much so that on July 14, the day of the awards ceremony, this tweet appeared: "Honestly don't expect to win over these roles on what I assume are primetime shows, but I'd love to see a daytime television star take the award. Daytime television rocks and I'd like to see it get more recognition."
The young star and his dad were quite surprised about the win because they were pretty clueless about the submission process.
"We had no idea what we were doing. So many young stars with their publicists and VIP status. Me and my dad were lost. We didn't even know how to vote," he shared on Instagram. "The win for my work on GH with Steve Burton [Jason Morgan], Kelly Monaco [Sam McCall] and Billy Miller [Drew Cain] was a complete shock and such an honor for a daytime recurring actor. Of course, I have the amazing actors mentioned above to help guide me on set."
Weaver joined GH as Jason and Sam's son in 2016. He decided he wanted to be an actor at the tender age of three and made his film debut in the short film Upended by Tessa Blake and Amy Landecker.
