GH launches fan auction in celebration of the show's 55th anniversary

Beginning today, Prop Store has launched a special General Hospital online auction that gives fans a chance to bid on iconic items from the ABC soap opera.

General Hospital turned 55 years old on Sunday, April 1, and the ABC soap opera is celebrating its milestone moment in an exciting way: beginning today, Prop Store, one of the world's leading film and television memorabilia companies, is hosting an online auction that gives fans a chance to bid on items from the iconic soap opera.

Some of the props and costume pieces available include Kirsten Storms's (Maxie Jones) 2015 Nurses Ball gown and Finola Hughes's (Anna Devane) 2016 Nurses Ball gown. There will also be pieces from beloved characters like Luke and Laura Spencer (Anthony Geary and Genie Francis); Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard); and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), including a menu from the Floating Rib. There will be a collection of Luke's fake drivers' licenses and the latex mask worn by Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) to disguise himself as Duke.

Bidding begins today and will remain open through Monday, April 16, 2018. To access the full catalogue of GH items up for bid and to learn more about the official bidding rules, click here.

In addition to the auction, Prop Store is also holding a weekly giveaway where fans can register for a chance to win an original GH script signed by the actors. A new winner will be drawn randomly from the registration pool every week. You can click here to register to win.

Prop Store sells original movie memorabilia, hosting multiple live and online auctions annually from its facilities in Los Angeles and London on its e-commerce platform www.propstore.com. Operating since 1998, Prop Store founder Stephen Lane's love for movies led him to begin hunting for the same props and costumes that were used to create his favorite films. He found that he could not only provide collectors with access to their most coveted pieces but also establish archival standards for a new pop-culture hybrid of fine art and memorabilia collecting - prop art. Prop Store handles prop storage, disposal, sale, archive, and auction services to production companies and distributors as well as fixed price item sales on its website.
