Catch General Hospital star Ryan Paevey in Hallmark's Don't Go Breaking My Heart

A "breakup boot camp" spurs a workout of love in Don't Go Breaking My Heart, a new Hallmark Channel film starring Ryan Paevey (ex-Nathan West, General Hospital).

If your general weekend workout routine involves less pumping iron and more munching popcorn, you're in luck. General Hospital star Ryan Paevey (ex-Nathan West) is starring in a new Hallmark Channel film called Don't Go Breaking My Heart, which gives you a perfect excuse to stay home and plant yourself in front of the tube.

Part of the network's Spring Fling film lineup, the romantic movie follows a woman named Miranda (Italia Ricci) who runs a successful program called "Breakup Boot Camp" that helps the brokenhearted heal and move on with their lives and relationships. Paevey stars as Ben, a journalist who is part of Miranda's latest boot camp group, but only as moral support for his sister. At first, he scoffs at the idea of the boot camp, but Miranda is determined to get through to him. Ben's boss later asks him to go undercover and write an expos on Miranda and her program. As Ben and Miranda spend more time together, they both have to face issues long buried, and when Ben's secret comes to light, their burgeoning relationship is threatened.

As Soap Central previously reported, Hallmark has found its golden boy in Paevey, who's starred in a bevy of romantic films for the network, including a 2016 spin on Pride & Prejudice called Unleashing Mr. Darcy, the 2020 Valentine's Day movie Matching Hearts, and a 2019 holiday film titled Christmas at the Plaza, which topped Thanksgiving cable ratings charts -- even beating out football and a much-anticipated Friends Thanksgiving special.

Prior to finding major success at Hallmark, Paevey starred as GH's Nathan from 2013 to 2018. Some of his other credits include Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Client List, and Games People Play.
