More details on Timothée Chalamet's appearance in Berlin
Timothée Chalamet made an appearance at the special screening of his film, A Complete Unknown, where he played the biopic role of Bob Dylan. It was held on Friday, Valentine's Day, and he was seen wearing an all-pink outfit featuring a vest, a sweatshirt, trousers, and mid-cut sneakers.
After the special screening, the Dune star attended a jam-packed press conference where he spoke about his character, Bob Dylan. When asked about how the movie changed him, Chalamet responded:
"The truth is, I'm not interested in how it changed me or explaining how it changed me, as much as I know it did. The way it did wasn't academic, and so much of the pressure in Hollywood or show business is people want to know where you're at," Variety reports.
"The point being, it's not really interesting to talk about because there's no conclusion I've made. The only conclusion I've made is to keep my head down, the way Bob did after he made 'Blonde on Blonde' and he disappeared after the motorcycle accident."
Timothée Chalamet expressed that playing Bob Dylan's character influenced his perception of fame and activism.
A Complete Unknown is based on the book Dylan Goes Electric by Elijah Warld. It narrates the story of Bob Dylan's rise as an artist up to his iconic performance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival, where he performed live for the first time with electric instruments.
