Nike is rumored to bring back the Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey” sneakers, which first appeared in 2011. The Air Jordan 5 was first launched in 1990 in a black and metallic silver colorway. The sneakers were designed by Tinker Hatfield and retailed for $125.
Since then, Nike has launched multiple colorways of the shoes, which include the Air Jordan 5 Retro "Golden Ticket" in the Earth/Sail/Muslin/Metallic Gold colorway, the Air Jordan 5 Retro "White and Black" in the White/Sail/Metallic Silver/Black colorway, the Air Jordan 5 Retro in Anthracite/Wolf Grey/Clear/Black, and more.
The new Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey” sneakers come in a wolf grey, light grey, and white colorway for a monochromatic look. The shoes are expected to be released in 2026. However, Nike is yet to confirm the news of the launch.

Design details of Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey” sneakers
Nike added the inspiration behind the AJ5 design on their website by saying,
"Like the WWII fighter plane that inspired the design of the Air Jordan 5, Michael Jordan was unrelenting on the attack and unstoppable in the air."
Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey” sneakers have suede upper in wolf grey and light grey. The sides and tongue top feature a reflective design with light grey shoelaces.
The sides of the shoes say '23' with the Jumpman logo on the tongue, and the back of the sneakers is white. The outsole is translucent, combined with white detailing on the midsole. The inner sock liner is white, blending the colors.
However, Nike has also previously released similar colorways in other Jordan versions. One is the Nike Air Force 1 in Cool Grey/Black, which retails for $170 and is a good alternative.
