Leigh Whannell directed Wolf Man is a supernatural horror film set to be theatrically released on January 17, 2025, across the United States and the United Kingdom. It is a reboot of the original movie The Wolf Man (1941) and will have Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner as lead stars.

The plan for a shared cinematic was announced in 2014 by Universal Pictures - based on what we know as Universal Monsters, the source of the story for Wolf Man. Principal photography of the movie took place in New Zealand in early 2024. The official synopsis of Wolf Man reads:
"A man must protect himself and his family when they are being stalked, terrorized, and haunted by a deadly werewolf at night during a full moon. But as the night streches on, the man begins to behave strangely. "

What do we know about the plot of Wolf Man?
Wolf Man revolves around the story of a common man who tries to save his family from the clutches of a sinister force - a werewolf, that suddenly comes haunting on a full moon night but unluckily falls prey to it himself.
The protagonists Blake and Charlotte, played by Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner respectively, go on a holiday in a remote village in Oregon to work on their failing marriage. Their kid also accompanies them.
As the movie reaches its climax, Blake is attacked by a werewolf and is transformed into a deadly creature thereby putting his family at risk.
The story explores supernatural elements clubbed with thrill, horror, action, and drama - all of it together. As the release date nears, fans eagerly wait to see how the plot further unravels.
Who is in the cast of Wolf Man?
Whannell has chosen Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner as the lead cast for Wolf Man. Abbott will be seen playing the role of a man named Blake and Garner will be cast as his wife Charlotte. Matilda Firth will play the part of Ginger, their daughter. Among others in the cast, we have:
