Surprise appearances in Deadpool & Wolverine: From Blake Lively to Chris Evans
Marvel films are known for featuring some of the best surprise appearances of known characters, and Deadpool & Wolverine is one of them. It brought back Chris Evans as Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch, vampire hunter Blade and Elektra, whom fans have seen in various MCU films, and more.
The film also stars Deadpool and Wolverine variants, in which Ryan Reynolds' wife and Gossip Girl star Blake Lively voiced Loadypool. Other fun twists in the film include Henry Cavill as Cavillrine, Matthew McConaughey briefly voicing Cowboy Deadpool, and Nathan Fillion as Headpool, a floating variant whose body has nothing but a head.
The film is commended for its action-packed scenes with Deadpool and his pal Wolverine save the multiverse. While the duo faces numerous threats in their quest, Emma Corrin's Cassandra Nova emerges as the titular foe. She's described as one of the most complex characters; after all, Nova is the twin sister of Professor Charles Xavier from X-Men.
