Barry Manilow has postponed several of his upcoming performances following a recent health update. He had recovered and was back performing at the Westgate Las Vegas. However, it was advised by his physician to undergo an MRI because his physician wanted to check if everything was all right.This scan showed that there is a cancerous growth that must be surgically excised. Barry Manilow explained that early detection came about as a result of proper medical attention and timing. There are no complications expected in recovering from the surgery.Manilow will not be singing in January because of his surgery. Some concerts that are set to happen in January have been postponed. The artist issued a statement apologizing to his fans, saying that he and his entire organization looked forward to the concerts, but he is now changing his plans.New dates for the performance have been announced. Fans who had purchased tickets for the January event would be able to attend the said event using the same tickets.The comments section quickly filled with messages of support, as fans sent well wishes to the singer and urged him to focus on his health.
