Eddie and Wendy Osefo were arrested Thursday evening in Westminster, according to TMZ. According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office public information officer, Wendy is charged with 16 charges, which include fraud, one misdemeanor charge of providing a false statement to an officer, and seven felony counts of submitting false or misleading information over $300.

Her husband, Eddie, is charged with 18 counts, as informed by Page Six, including nine felony counts of false or misleading information, eight misdemeanour offences, and one misdemeanor count of providing a false statement to an officer.

The pair "was taken into custody Thursday but is in the process of being released after placing a $50,000 bond each," the Carroll County Sheriff's Office informed Page Six.

When the mugshots of the pair were made public, it took no time to go viral on social media. The internet is having a field day with their mugshot on social media. The pair were donning gray jail-issue T-shirts and had smiled when the mugshot was taken.

Wendy, who had joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac back in 2020, has also appeared as a political pundit on CNN. Her husband, Eddie, is a lawyer and their life is frequently featured on the show.

They are not the only ones from the cast facing legal troubles; their cast member, the Grand Dame Karen Huger, was just released from prison in the month of September after spending six months for a conviction related to driving under the influence.

After she smashed her Maserati into a street sign, she received a sentence of five years on probation and two years in jail, with one year suspended. According to the police bodycam, which was released recently, during her arrest, Huger spoke incoherently and referred to herself as Thomas Jefferson's "concubine."

It was her fourth DUI.

No public statements have been released by Eddie, Wendy Osefo or The Real Housewives of Potomac's reps as of this writing. All the details about their charges are yet to be disclosed by the Carroll County Sheriff's Office. The story is still developing.
