According to People Magazine, on November 23, authorities were called to the hotel at around 12:39 a.m. after Reid, who reportedly ended a relationship earlier this month, was allegedly drugged during an incident at the hotel. Until recently, Tara Reid was in a long-term relationship with Nathan Montpetit-Howar, a music producer and the President of Phantom Acoustics.

An investigation regarding the incident involving the "Bloodthirst" actress is currently underway. According to USA Today, the incident took place after she ordered a drink at the bar, after which she stepped outside to smoke. When she returned, she found a pink napkin covering her drink, but she went ahead and drank it, after which she allegedly lost consciousness. Her representative, James Owens, released a statement following the incident and said:

"Tara is recovering and asks for privacy during this traumatic time. She also urges everyone to be careful, watch your drinks and never leave them unattended, as this can happen to anyone."

According to ET Online, the couple met at the ESPY Awards, after which they began a casual relationship.
