Lady Victoria Hervey, a British society aristocrat and former model, is facing heavy criticism online over her reaction to Virginia Giuffre’s recent car crash. Hervey, who was once linked to Prince Andrew, posted a response to Giuffre’s claims of having been critically injured in a crash with a school bus.
Virginia Giuffre, the woman who made allegations against convicted s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew, had taken to Instagram to tell followers she had a life-threatening accident.
She claimed to have kidney failure and had been told by doctors that she had only a few days to live. Giuffre’s Instagram post contained a photo of her in a hospital bed with visible bruising. Victoria Hervey, 48, re-posted a photo of Giuffre in the hospital with the word “KARMA” written across it.
Lady Victoria Hervey is a British aristocrat, ex-model, and socialite. She is the daughter of the late Victor Hervey, sixth Marquess of Bristol, and his third wife, Yvonne Marie Sutton.
Her father, a former multimillionaire with an estimated peak worth of $100 million, filed for bankruptcy and was convicted of stealing jewelry. The family moved to Monaco after he was imprisoned, and Hervey spent much of her childhood there.
According to the South China Morning Post, despite her aristocratic roots, Hervey has mostly made a name for herself on the London party scene with short-lived modeling and television gigs. She has been rumored to have dated several high-profile figures, including Prince Andrew, in the 1990s.
More about Victoria Hervey’s response and Giuffre’s legal battle with Prince Andrew
Following her response to Giuffre’s condition, Victoria Hervey claimed, without giving evidence, that Giuffre had fabricated her previous allegations against Prince Andrew, which she was now trying to escape punishment for. According to a report by Page Six, she was quoted saying,
"She’s conveniently dying to evade jail."
The socialite also raised doubts about the legitimacy of Giuffre’s condition, citing details like the jewelry she wore and her attire in the hospital photo. She suggested that Giuffre was exaggerating or making up how badly she’d been injured.
"I mean, she is the Queen of the fake photo after all, hence I’m such a skeptic and don’t believe in jumping to any conclusions right away from a visual." Hervey claimed.
Virginia Giuffre first gained attention when she accused Prince Andrew of s*xually abusing her when she was 17, which was uncovered during part of Jeffrey Epstein’s s*x trafficking operation.
Andrew has consistently denied the allegations but settled with Giuffre in 2022, reportedly paying her about $12 million. According to a 2022 report by CNN, the deal did not state any admission of guilt, but the scandal caused Andrew to be stripped of his military titles.
