In response to host Tony Dokoupil's question about Belichick and Hudson’s relationship, the latter ended up interrupting the interviewer and remarked,

"We're not talking about this."

Given the entire incident of Jordon cutting in, Jennifer Schmitt criticized the former and penned what she felt. She replied to comedian Nikki Glaser's post, referring to Hudson as Bill's publicist, commenting,

"Publicists act in a professional manner and don’t ‘storm’ off set delaying an interview."

While the CBS interview, aired on April 27, was hosted for Bill Belichick's book The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football, his partner's unforeseen remark caught the spotlight instead.

Schmitt's weighing in on the controversy clarified her displeasure with her father-in-law's girlfriend's behavior.

Schmitt is from Baltimore, Maryland. According to a report by The Sun, she attended Perry Hall High School and joined Tufts University in Massachusetts to study occupational therapy.

Jennifer Schmitt and Stephen Belichick share similar interests; they are passionate about lacrosse. While attending Rutgers University, she played the sport. Interestingly, she met the love of her life at this university and started dating soon.

Years after dating, Schmitt and Belichick exchanged vows on June 24, 2017. According to a Boston Herald report, she wore a custom couture designed by renowned fashion designer David Josef. Over the past few years, they have welcomed four kids.

On October 18, 2016, they experienced parenthood for the first time by welcoming their first child, their daughter Blakely Rose. Their second kid, Hayes William, was born on October 23, 2020. "I love Steve right now because of the dad that he is."

Appreciating all the efforts he puts in raising the little ones, she further continued,

"He just shows up any minute he's off, he's with the kids, he wants to be with the kids. Like when people ask me about alone time, I'm like 'every now and then' but honestly, we want to be with the kids."

For the couple, their alone time is their bedtime, after putting their children to sleep.
