The White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood's younger sister, Emily Wood, is a makeup artist. Emily took to her Instagram story recently to share a photo of the two after Emily was mocked by Saturday Night Live. While showing support to her sister, Emily wrote,
"My (world) @aimeelouwood. She is out here personifying the wood POWERHOUSE. The admiration I have for this woman is nuts. Beyond comprehension. Just like my feelings of deep animalistic protectiveness over her. The greatest big sister. The best human on the planet. Her authenticity and originality is incomparable."
She also added,
"My god we are really madly blessed to experience life on earth at the same time as her."
Her post comes after a recent episode of SNL skit titled The White Potus, which featured a parody of the upcoming third season of The White Lotus, imagining US President Donald Trump and his team spending time at the fictional hotel.
Aimee Lou Wood's character from the series, Chelsea, was portrayed by Sarah Sherman, who used a pronounced accent and fake teeth, and at one point referenced the actress's teeth, and asked, "Flouride?" to mock Aimee Lou's appearance.
The British actress, in an Instagram post, reacted to her portrayal, calling it "mean and unfunny" and saying there must be a "cleverer, more nuanced, less cheap way" to create a parody.

"I know. It's been long enough now that I'm like (peace sign). As in being the sibling of somebody famous. It's levelled up, but it'll settle again soon. Radical acceptance!!!"
