Tommy Lee, the legendary Mötley Crüe drummer and his wife, Brittany Furlan, a social media personality and actress, have supposedly called it quits after six years of marriage, sources close to the couple told TMZ.

The primary reason is Lee’s ongoing alcohol battle, a fight Furlan has tried to help him with, but eventually deemed impossible to change him, the sources informed TMZ. The sources also stated that the couple have not been living together for the last two weeks.

Brittany Furlan, aged 38, hails from Pennsylvania, and emerged as a star on the short form video hosting service, Vine. She was the most followed woman on Vine with more than 8 million followers. TIME even listed her among its 2015's most influential people on the internet. She went on to act and host multiple podcasts including her own show, Worst Firsts.

Her acting credits include Drugstore June (2024), We Are Your Friends (2015) and The Dirt (2019). According to People, though her career ultimately found success in media and content creation, Furlan was a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

Furlan has also been open about her battles with depression, anxiety and self-harm, which she has stated have been soothed by therapy and medication. Therefore, she uses her social media platform to spread awareness of mental health, often engaging with her millions of Instagram and TikTok followers.

"People in school were mean to me. I had one friend. Because depression runs in my family and the mental illness, I think it just hit me really hard when I was 16." She told People Magazine in an interview.

Tommy Lee and Brittany Furlan started dating in 2017 after finding each other on the celebrity dating app Raya. According to Furlan, she was initially wary due to the fact that she had been cheated on in previous relationships, but the two quickly became close. Remembering their first few conversation on the How to Talk to Girls podcast, Furlan said:

"I matched with him and he was just so persistent. He was just like, texting me every day, and being like, 'Hey, what are you doing?'… He was just so nice."
