Socialite and model Jackie Siegel lost her sister and husband recently. Jessica Mallery, her sister, died of an overdose three days after her husband, David Siegel's death. Jackie released a statement through the Instagram page of the Victoria's Voice Foundation, where she wrote:
“As I mourn the profound loss of my beloved husband David Siegel, who passed away on April 5 at the age of 89, my world was shattered again yesterday by the unexpected loss of my beautiful sister, Jessica Mallery, 43, to a scourge we as a family sadly know too well – accidental drug overdose.”
Jackie Siegel added that Jessica died after using cocaine that was mixed with fentanyl. She spoke about the drug problem in America, mentioning the fentanyl crisis. She emphasized that it was important to keep working through their foundation. The foundation's goal is to make people more aware and to stop similar events from happening.
The family expressed their thanks to everyone for their support. They also asked for privacy during this sad time for them. Following Jessica's wishes, her organs will be donated to help others who need them. The statement continued:
“In lieu of flowers, our family requests that those who wish to honor Jessica’s memory do so by donating to the Victoria’s Voice Foundation.”
David and Jackie Siegel started the Victoria’s Voice Foundation to honor their daughter Victoria, who died in June 2015 from drug-related problems. The foundation shared the news of David’s death on April 5, 2025, writing:
“It is with sadness that we announce that our foundation’s founder and Victoria’s father, David Siegel passed away this morning at the age of 89. There is never an easy way to say goodbye to someone so beloved by so many but our hearts are full knowing he is at peace with Victoria now.”

Paying tribute to her husband in an Instagram post, Jackie Siegel reflected on their 25 years together, raising eight children, and expressed how heartbroken the family was. Despite the pain, she found comfort in imagining their late daughter Victoria greeting him in the afterlife, along with their son Steven.
She shared that life is a gift and expressed her belief that her husband is now at peace. She encouraged others to treasure every moment and be grateful. Jackie wrote:
“I know you all loved him too, which is why I wanted to share this with you. Thank you for your love and support during this difficult time. It means the world to us.”
