Having said that, besides being the husband of the former president's daughter, what does Henry Hager do for a living? It is a question that netizens have shown interest in.

One would agree that to get access to meet the president's daughter and then marry her, one needs to be someone important, educated, and skilled. In this case, Henry was all of the three. He began his career in politics, and that is how he came across Jenna in the first place. The qualified man had his fingers in many pies, meaning that during the Bush administration, Henry held different positions at different levels, including the deputy chief operations manager for the 2004 Bush presidential election campaign.

Not to mention, he worked alongside Secretary Carlos Gutierrez and also worked in the US Department of Commerce. However, after working for several years in politics alongside powerful and influential political figures, Henry shifted his interest toward business development and investment.

Henry Hager is currently the managing director of a Calgary-based private equity firm called Waterous Energy Fund. The company invests in the gas and oil sector of Canada. Before this, Henry worked as a director for a global investment firm, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, and also worked in the corporate strategy department at Constellation Energy.

Besides his business career, Henry Hager is one of the active board members of the George W. Bush Presidential Center, the Building Conservation Trust, and the Coastal Conservation Association's Building Conservation Trust.
