American record executive and businessman Damon Anthony Dash, commonly known as Dame Dash, has recently offered to resolve his dispute with the prominent rapper and actor 50 Cent.
While the netizens are curious to find out what happened with Dame Dash and Cent, according to reports, the conflict between the record executive and the In da Club hitmaker, 50 Cent, stems from multiple issues, including public mockery on social media, disputes related to business, and the Candy Shop singer's purchase of rights to the 2002 movie Paid In Full directed by Charles Stone III.
50 Cent, besides being a rapper and actor, is also a television producer. According to XXL, he appeared in an episode of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, hosted by Gillie the Kid and Wallo, on September 1, 2025, where he discussed his future plans and career.
During the podcast, while talking about his $1 million deal in 2002 with Shady Records, Aftermath, and Interscope, he recalled that it was only Dame Dash who claimed that the deal wasn't impressive, as the amount was not that large. While the Ayo Technology rapper criticized Dame Dash during the podcast, Cent said:
"The only person that pointed out $1 million was no money was Damon Dash and he has no money now. I only felt that because he said, that ain’t no money. After you get a watch, a chain, you look out for the homies and you do this, that it’s nothing. And I was like, 'Ni**a, I’m from 134th Street. $1 million is a lot of money.' I think I hit the lotto! How you gonna say it’s no money? I just never forgot that because of how it felt."
However, according to Complex, Dame Dash, who co-founded Roc-A-Fella Records in 1994 with Kareem Burke and Jay-Z, recently came forward as he decided to end the public feud with 50 Cent and another rapper, Cam'Ron. The prominent record executive, Dame Dash, in an Instagram video on September 21, 2025, regarding 50 Cent and Cam'Ron, said:
"I’m sitting here on the dock looking at the view and I’m thinking, like, why am I beefing with Cam? The only reason is just because I never got to talk to him. He publicly said he wasn’t gon’ talk to me. But almost every OG from Harlem and everyone I respect is like, cut this shit. It’s embarrassing."
Dame Dash wants a sit-down with 50 Cent

Dame Dash went ahead and even mentioned a sit-down with 50 Cent to resolve their long-standing feud by simply communicating with one another. Dash also talked about apologizing to Harlem, as he knows the whole matter has been "embarrassing." While referring to Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather Part II, as he mentioned Fredo's murder, Dash said:
"The Black godfather don’t kill his brother. He teaches his brother."
While talking about working with 50 Cent, Dame added:
"Instead of us talking about each other on fucking social media like clowns, let’s sit down and talk like real men. Let’s take this off the street. The street right now is the internet and this shit is corny. So, I don’t wanna fight with y’all no more."
In his most recent Instagram update, Dash mentioned his actual objective and wrote:
"Let’s just resolve this and move forward collectively. Let’s show the world that they can’t divide us over bullshit."
