Created by Michael Jacobs and April Kelly, the 1993 sitcom Boy Meets World follows the character of Cory Matthews, played by Ben Savage, who navigates life while he juggles school, his friends, and his love interest.

In the show, we witness Cory grow from a sixth grader to a college student as he learns a bunch of life lessons on the way. Besides Boy Meets World, Ben has also been in several movies, including light-hearted comedies and rom-coms like Little Monster, Girl Meets Boy, Love, Lights, Hanukkah!, and others.

Fans of Ben Savage have wondered what had happened to him after Boy Meets World was over. He has worked in other projects, including both films and TV shows. As per reports, after the 1993 sitcom was over, he graduated with a political science degree from Stanford and pursued acting. He also starred in the spin-off show Girl Meets World, which was released in 2014.

According to reports, Ben, who got hitched to Tessa Angermeier in 2023, with whom he is expecting his first child, is no longer in contact with his Boy Meets World co-stars. However, the reason behind the estrangement is not quite clear, as Ben has not addressed the matter or made any comments regarding it.

Will Friedle, who played Ben Savage's older brother in the 1993 sitcom, opened up about his estrangement from him on one of the episodes of the Pod Meets World podcast. The 48-year-old actor said:

"Ben is one of the most important people I’ve ever met in my life and I can’t stand the fact that he won’t speak to us. And that’s what it is: He won’t speak to us."

It's not only Will but also Ben who is not in contact with his other co-stars, Danielle Fishel and Rider Strong. Will stated that it is still a mystery to him why Ben would avoid them for so long and not even try to get in touch. Will said:

"I can show you the last three years, literally, of messages and in the middle of a conversation with Ben, he just bailed on me. Ben absolutely one day woke up and said, ‘I don’t want Will in my life,’ and never told me why."
