Tara Reid claims she was drugged at a hotel outside of Chicago over the weekend.

TMZ shared a video of Tara Reid being transported to a nearby hospital on a stretcher early on Sunday morning. She told the outlet that she checked into her room at the Rosemont hotel the day before and went to the bar for a drink. She ran into some YouTubers on her way down and went outside with one of them to smoke.

She came back inside and headed to the bar when she saw that her glass of wine was covered with a napkin. She allegedly took off the napkin and drank from the glass. However, she claims to have been left unconscious as the next thing she remembered was waking up in the hospital.

The details involving Tara Reid's alleged abuse explored:

Rosemont Police told TMZ in a statement that the department received calls about a "sick person" at the hotel. Paramedics arrived at the scene after midnight. Authorities noted that there was no word of a possible "drugging," and no report has been filed.

The person who filmed Tara Reid being transported on a stretcher claims that just before she collapsed, she shouted,

“You don’t know who I am. I am famous. I’m an actress.”

The actress, who has reportedly struggled with her sobriety in the past, claims she had just one drink on the night in question. She also maintains that she didn't ingest any substances. She said she felt “violated” and “frightened” by the incident.

As of this writing, the incident is reportedly under investigation. Law enforcement has not issued a formal statement, nor have the hotel staff. The identity of the person who smoked with Tara Reid outside the hotel is also unclear. A representative for the latter told the Daily Mail:

"Tara Reid has filed a police report after an incident in which she believes her drink was tampered with. She is cooperating fully with the investigation. Tara is recovering and asks for privacy during this traumatic time. She also urges everyone to be careful, watch your drinks and never leave them unattended, as this can happen to anyone. She will not be making further comments at this stage."

Tara Reid also spoke to TMZ Live on Monday when she recounted the alleged incident.

'So I got to the hotel, I checked in, and then I went downstairs to have a drink and have a cigarette, and I got my drink and I left it at the bar, and I went outside, smoked a cigarette, and there was a bunch of YouTubers there in the lobby, like everywhere. And they're videotaping stuff and, you know, everything. It was just weird,' she said. 'And I went back to the bar, and my drink was covered up with a napkin. And I thought, "that was weird," cause I never put that over my drink. And then I drank my drink and without even finishing my drink, I just passed out. And before I knew it, I was in the hospital, eight hours later.'

She was asked if there were any tests done to determine if she had drugs in her system, to which she said,

'No, I didn't ask. It was all kind of vague. It was all like very blurry, do you know what I mean?... I can't even explain it because I don't even know what happened. Cause I was unconscious, so I don't know what they did, you know what I mean? I mean, I had someone, a lady sitting next to the room with me, you know, watching over me. At one point, she was Mexican, I mean one point I thought I was in Mexico, 'cause she wasn't speaking English. And I was like, "what is going...", I was so confused what was happening. And then my agent came and picked me up and then we went to a signing, we did it and left. I came back home. t was just a big blur,' she continued.

Tara Reid also expressed gratitude that the incident took place in a public atmosphere, of all places.

"Like, and there was security there to help me, cause I mean, if this happened at... not a public place, I mean you could get raped,' she said, stuttering the word 'public' several times. 'You could get... a lot of things could go really, really, really wrong."
