In October 2022, rapper Diddy celebrated Halloween by dressing as Heath Ledger’s Joker from the 2008 film The Dark Knight. He allegedly posted the photos on his Instagram account, although they are unavailable now. However, interestingly, these photos have resurfaced on social media.

This prompted netizens to share their reactions, reminiscing about how the rapper pulled off the look. One X user wrote:

“The Poker.”

Some users on X appeared dissatisfied with his cosplay, while others speculated that even the real Joker wouldn’t have approved of it.

“As a speaker for all joker fans, lock diddy up,” another person wrote.
“i don’t think the joker would even like this,” a person commented.
“So the joker killed Tupac,” another social media user reacted.

Netizens commented that his actions were no different from his usual behavior, except he was dressed as the Joker this time.

“He probably had water guns full of baby oil ready,” a person reacted on X.
“Same shit he did every night except this time he was doing it as the joker,” another netizen commented.
“All his guy friends seeing him dressed up knowing what was about to go down,” an X user wrote.
“Didn’t Warner bros tell Diddy to stop dressing up like joker or they gonna sue him,” a social media user reacted.

After this incident in 2022, Warner Bros. warned Diddy not to dress as the Joker. He shared a video explaining that Warner Bros. had contacted him after his 2022 Joker costume went viral to inform him that he had infringed on their trademark by portraying the character too well.

In the video, he displayed the alleged legal documents to the camera and stated that he wouldn’t be dressing as the Joker this year. The video then ended abruptly with a message reading, “Stay tuned.”

Diddy dressed up as Batman for Halloween 2023

The rapper posted a video on X on November 1, 2023, in which he appeared as Batman from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy. He was seen sitting atop the Batmobile as dramatic narration plays. The scene then shifts to an office, seemingly belonging to a Hollywood executive with Oscars on his desk.

The video shows Batman storming in and demanding an end to the strike, leaving the executive unconscious. As seen from the video, the executive is stripped of his clothes and covered with a sign that reads, "The strike is over! Love, The Darkest Knight."

The Joker, potentially portrayed by Diddy, also makes an appearance. The video concludes with a shot of a newsstand featuring a headline from The Gotham Times declaring, "The Darkest Knight Ends the Strike."

Diddy shared a video on X of himself walking through a crowded street dressed in his Batman costume. Reportedly, the day before Halloween, after Jimmy Kimmel playfully encouraged him to dress as the Joker again, the rapper addressed Warner Bros.' lawyers, saying they should watch what he does the next day.
