On September 15, 2024 actress Sydney Sweeney posted a carousel on Instagram. In one of the photos with the 'Hawk Tuah' girl, whose real name is Haliey Welch, the actress was seen licking her T-shirt. The post had the caption ‘Came for @horrornights stayed for the minions.’

What was most striking about the photo was that 'Hawk Tuah' Girl's shirt was adorned with several phallic-like patterns which Sweeney pretended to lick. As previously noted, the photo was initially shared on Instagram but quickly went viral on X, where numerous users shared their witty comments. One user on X remarked:

“The avengers aren’t getting me out of that room.”

Other internet users responded to Sydney Sweeney’s behavior, with some reportedly stating that they no longer found her attractive. However, a few questioned the society.

“ew, suddenly she's become 80% less hot,” another X user reacted.
“What happened to society?” a person commented.
“What has happened to her,” another person reacted.

Internet users were surprised that Sydney Sweeney didn’t kiss the shirt. Interestingly, some netizens seemed to find the real meaning of Hawk Tuah Girl.

“Halloween shirt in September is diabolical,” a netizen reacted.
“Surprised how she didn't kissed that shirt at this point,” another person wrote.
“shes putting the hawk to the tuah,” an X user reacted.
“What kind of Halloweens are on her shirt?” another netizen commented.

Hawk Tuah Girl recently started her YouTube show Talk Tuah with Haliey Welch

Haliey Welch started a new podcast Talk Tuah and its first episode aired on September 10, 2024. The show, according to New York Post, is part of the Betr media company, founded by Jake Paul, and would be a weekly podcast featuring a variety of personalities and interviews. The debut episode of Hawk Tuah Girl’s podcast featured comedian Whitney Cummings.

Mike Denevi, the head of media at Betr, said Haliey Welch joining the platform marked a significant addition to the Betr Media family. He lauded her as a genuine superstar with exceptional charisma, a unique perspective, and a strong connection to her audience, making her an ideal fit for the platform.

Denevi further expressed excitement for Talk Tuah, noting that it would introduce a fresh and dynamic voice to Betr's content lineup. He emphasized that both the audience and brand sponsors would have the opportunity to engage with Welch in a way that aligns with Betr Media's values.

In the first episode of her podcast, Haliey Welch said she was scared of coming out of her house after her Hawk Tuah video went viral. She added:

“I wish I have like jumped on it sooner though. Like I was scared to come out of my house the first two weeks, me and her both. We locked ourselves in the f*****g bedroom.”

The Hawk Tuah Girl also revealed that one of the decisions that she regretted was hiding from the world.

When Whitney Cummings inquired whether she was dating or using dating apps, Welch responded that she was not using any apps and expressed that she finds men intimidating.
