Skibidi Toilet movie is currently underway and there is an exciting update about the same. Rob Legato has joined the film as the visual effects supervisor. He has worked on James Cameron films like Titanic and Avatar as well as the live-action adaptation of The Lion King; Legato was the VFX supervisor in these films.

Back in July 2024, Variety had reported that Michael Bay is planning to adapt the YouTube series into a film as well as a television series. He has joined hands with producer Adam Goodman, who was also the president of Paramount Pictures.

Skibidi Toilet is about an ongoing war between humanoid individuals with electric devices for heads and a toilet with human heads. The success of the series spans around 28 seasons and 78 episodes. Since then, the series has also inspired merchandise and fan art on Pinterest. Goodman spoke to a podcast in July 2024 about the adaptations. He said,

“We are absolutely in talks right now, both on the television side and the earliest conversations right now on the film side but it’s not a be-all, end-all for us.”

He added,

"I will say that Michael and Jeffrey Beecroft, who's his longtime production designer and a colleague of his that's worked with him on all of his movies, have been working very closely with Alexey to really professionalize the kind of back engine of this, to make sure, if we ever decide to go film or television, that this is kind of lifted beyond just the resources that creators have on the internet."

Goodman plans to adapt it into a mix of live action and animation version similar to District 9.
