Singapore International Film Festival Silver Screen Awards 2025: Complete winners list explored

On December 7, the Singapore International Film Festival Silver Screen Awards recognized the works of several artists. Movies like Riverstone and Always were honored at this year’s Singapore International Film Festival.

Chen Deming’s Always bagged one of the top titles, becoming Best Asian Feature Film at the Singapore International Film Festival Silver Screen Awards. Another movie from Sri Lanka, titled Riverstone by Lalith Rathnayake, took home two awards: Best Performance (actor) and Best Director.

The 36th Singapore International Film Festival kicked off on November 26, and it concluded on December 7. The SGIFF’s official website described its Silver Screen Awards in the following words:

“The event spotlights filmmaking talents from across Asia, with a focus on Southeast Asia. Many of the awardees and nominees have since established themselves among the region’s most prominent filmmakers.”
