Football tight end Shannon Sharpe was allegedly caught in a scandal in September 2024 when he accidentally recorded a live stream of him being involved in a physical act with a woman whom he called ‘Michelle’ during the act.
On November 20, 2024, the NFL star met with actress and singer Keke Palmer on his weekly podcast Club Shay Hay where they discussed her career and journey. As the conversation progressed, she talked about the situations that young entertainers face in the industry. Palmer then mentioned an anecdote about a guy who was 27.

Sharpe said Palmer might have thought herself older as she was 17 then. As they burst into laughter after his reaction, Keke Palmer said:
“That’s what Michelle said.”
Sharpe rolled into excitement and laughter saying it was too soon for her to say that. Needless to say, internet users reacted hilariously:

Shannon Sharpe had previously announced the launch of his new merchandise line through an Instagram post which is now reportedly deleted. He shared the news with a playful caption referencing the "That's My Michelle" shirts. The NFL legend humorously noted that despite his warnings to leave that lady alone, the relentless teasing had pushed him to release the shirts.
After he accidentally filmed the act on his Instagram, Shannon Sharpe addressed the situation on his Nightcap podcast saying he was embarrassed about the situation. However, he clarified that he didn’t do it intentionally as he was unaware of the Instagram Live option.
According to Yahoo, Shannon Sharpe was engaged to fitness coach Katy Kellner in 2016 after they dated for three years. However, their relationship ended in 2018. The footballer has three children, a son, Kiari, and two daughters, Kayla and Kaley, as reported by People. Kiari's was born to him and Erika Evans, while Kayla and Kaley’s mothers’ names are unknown.
