Brie Garcia has provided an update on her sister Nikki Garcia amidst her divorce from Artem Chigvintsev following his domestic violence arrest.
During a latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Brie explained that her twin will be absent from the show since she's going through "something personal",
"Nikki isn't here because, as you all know, she's going through something personal in her life. And she just asks for her privacy for her and her family, so we're going to give that. But she sees all the support and love. And we're always grateful for all of your love and support, so thank you all for that."
Brie noted that Nikki plans to return to the podcast the next week.
News about Nikki's absence comes after the sisters were spotted shopping together for pumpkins, with Nikki without her wedding ring on September 20 in Napa Valley after Nikki filed for divorce from her husband, Artem Chigvintsev.

Nikki Garcia tied the knot with Artem Chigvintsev in August, 2022 and after 2 years of marriage, she has filed for divorce from her husband. Nikki filed for divorce two weeks after Chigvintsev was arrested on a charge of 'corporal injury to a spouse' on August.
As per documents obtained by People, Artem was arrested and booked in the Napa County Jail. He was charged and given a $25,000 bail, and was released less than hour later. It hasn't been confirmed if Nikki Garcia was the spouse, who became a victim to his alleged domestic violence.
Napa County Sheriff's Office's Public Information Officer Henry Wofford, while speaking to E! News, noted that he will not be revealing the name, gender or age of the alleged victim. However, while commenting on Artem's arrest, Wofford said,
"When someone is charged with felony domestic violence usually this means there is a visible injury or credible eyewitness."
A rep for the DWTS star confirmed, that Nikki has filed for divorce against Artem on September 11. The two share a four year old son, Matteo, and Nikki Garcia has requested sole legal and physical custody of their child, allowing Artem visitation.
Artem's lawyer Ilona Antonyan in a statement to PEOPLE noted that the star will not be commenting on the court proceedings.
"At this time, Mr. Chigvintsev will not comment on any pending proceeding."
Antonyan also mentioned that Artem and Nikki's are "focused on co-parenting and working together for the best interests of their son."
Artem was arrested in August on suspicion of domestic violence.
