KSI was called to a duel with Connor McGregor over his "bullsh*t song," as the latter dubbed it during his appearance at the BKFC on DAZN. The song in question was KSI's latest, Thick of It, which came out four days ago.
However, while the YouTuber may have brushed it off with snide comments on X, it was a fan's comment from October 12 on X that left him enraged.
When one fan reacted to the news of the Irishman challenging KSI with the caption:
"imagine your song being so bad that connor mcgregor wants to beаt your аs*,"
In another situation, JJ Olatunji, retorted to a user on X by referring to their profile picture by saying:
"Why don't you show your face instead of hiding behind a silver Ben 10 you f*cking p*ssy?"
However, what caught fans' attention was that the DP was not of Ben 10, but of Danny Phantom. Many were seemingly amazed to learn that the rapper missed out on the beloved show growing up.
Ben 10 was a cartoon that aired on Cartoon Network back in 2005. It revolved around a young boy, Ben Tennyson, who had a watch, the Omnitrix, that would give him powers to morph into various aliens.
Danny Phantom, on the other hand, was a Nickelodeon show that premiered in 2004. It follows Danny, a human-ghost hybrid as he keeps trying to save his town from evil ghosts.
As one user put it, or dissed him, rather,
"Not knowing Danny phantom is crazy especially because he got a better discography than you."
The internet was seemingly swept up in the confusion: how could KSI not know who Danny Phantom was?
"You gotta be living under a rock to not know danny phantom," one user pointed out.
"He’s been embarrassing himself badly these past few weeks he’s 31 man there’s no way that he shouldn’t know who Danny Phantom is," another echoed.
"HOW THE JAVA BEAN COFFEE CREAM F**K DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO DANNY PHANTOM IS IT'S BEEN LITERAL DECADES SINCE I'VE SEEN THE SHOW AND EVEN I KNOW WHO HE IS," one user declared.
"This is disrespectful to Danny Phantom and Ben 10 on a whole new level," another claimed.
KSI's comments may have inadvertently brewed up a storm, given that X was inundated with ridicule against him.
"ksi beefing with danny phantom is the funniest sh*t," one user joked.
"Y’all never got Danny Phantom in the UK?" another questioned, sarcastically.
"Please stop talking on social media for at least 3 months (preferably years) because you're just embarrassing yourself at this point," one user advised.
Per usual, the internet was relentlessly brutal, refusing to cut the rapper some slack for a seemingly innocent mistake.
Regardless, KSI doubled down, re-tweeting the same follower with some screenshots from last year of the same user asking him for a follow back:
KSI says he won't let the "trash" talk about his music get to him
When asked about his rocky relationship with fellow boxer KSI and if he'd ever fight him, "The Notorious" replied enthusiastically:
"Let's go, man. I'll fight him for that bullsh*t song he released alone. I'll fight him for that f*cking song alone."
The influencer's single has racked up about 3 million views on YouTube since the lyric video hit the platform this week. However, he took to X to shoot the Irishman down, alleging that he was under the influence when he made his comments:
"You can hear the coke in his voice [laughing emoji], such an idiot."
In another tweet, the media personality called on everyone to lay off him.
"Generational haters everywhere, I’m so tired of it at this point. Just leave me alone."
On October 5, on the same platform, he let fans know that their "'trash comments on" his "new song" will not be "getting" to him and that it's "not funny. It’s boring."
Several comments on his feed show the rapper responding to the hate messages, noting that he is under the impression that everyone "hates" him.
