One of the notable highlights of Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates is the performances of Adam Devine, 41, and Zac Efron, 37. Their on-screen portrayals as brothers looking for dates are hilarious. Fans love the 2016 film for the actors' bromance and their chemistry. The best part is that Zac and Adam seemingly share a fun bond in real life, too.

In a recent conversation on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast, the Isn't It Romantic actor spoke about former costar Zac and revealed the last time they had a chat.

On the Wednesday episode of the podcast, Adam DeVine recalled receiving a call from Zac Efron around six months ago when the 17 Again star enquired whether he could crash and stay with the former for two weeks. Although Adam responded excitedly and even spoke with his wife about the staying arrangement, he did not hear from Efron again. He revealed in the podcast that Zac did not call again.

Adam said:

"And then he ghosted me, dude. Never called back."

Here's what Adam Devine revealed about his "good friend" Zac Efron

Per a Page Six report, DeVine mentioned how Efron called him "out of the blue" after not having any contact over calls in the last "couple of years." The High School Musical star called him from "some private island somewhere" and had a sweet conversation.

Zac started the call, stating that he misses his friend. Per a People Magazine report, he said:

"Hey man, I just wanna let you know that I miss you."

Adam responded graciously, saying,

"I miss you too, dude. You're a good friend of mine."

Soon, Zac Efron asked if Adam DeVine still has "that place down by the beach." Knowing that Adam has that property, he also wanted to know,

"Would it be cool if I came and crashed with you for two weeks?"

Hearing this unexpected request, DeVine reciprocated with a loving gesture and welcomed his friend to come over.

"Uh, yeah, yeah, yeah, come stay with me."

DeVine and Efron concluded their call with the latter saying,

"Alright, I'm gonna call you tomorrow to get all the details, and then I'll be there early next week, and then you'll send me the address and all that."

After the call, Adam DeVine informed his wife, Chloe Bridges, about his co-star's visit.

"I think Zac's gonna come live here with us for a couple weeks. I don't know."

Chloe replied, saying:

"OK, yeah, I guess so."

While Adam waited for his buddy to stay at his place, Zac ghosted him instead. He elaborated in the podcast how Efron did not call or follow up after their last exchange.

He even texted Zac,

"Are you gonna stay here?"

However, there was no response from Efron's side. After their last conversation from six months back, DeVine now has "no idea" about Efron.
