Joseph Quinn will be Marvel's new Human Torch in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Ahead of the film's release, Quinn revealed the name of the group chat with his castmates.

"It's called ABBA."

Quinn said during a red carpet interview with The Hollywood Reporter for Warfare. He was joined by his co-star Michael Gandolfini, who recently appeared in Marvel's Daredevil: Born Again. When speaking about their camaraderie with their co-stars, Gandolfini said that his Daredevil team has a group chat named The Devils. Here's the clip:

Quinn chipped in to reveal the name of his group chat with the cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. In addition to Quinn, Marvel's upcoming tentpole also stars his Gladiator II co-star Pedro Pascal, Napoleon star Vanessa Kirby, and The Bear star Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

Pascal stars as Reed Richards (Mister Fantastic), Kirby as Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (The Thing), and Quinn as Johnny Storm (Human Torch). This is not the first time their Whatsapp group chat has made its way to the media headlines.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps stars have a group chat, and it's called ABBA, per the film's star Joseph Quinn. The name most likely refers to ABBA, the Swedish pop group known for songs like Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! and Mamma Mia. Previously, Ebon Moss-Bachrach mentioned details about this group during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel.

During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in February 2024, The Bear star revealed,

"There is a group text.—Pedro started a group text a couple of days ago."

Moss-Bachrach mentioned that the group started before the four of them had met in person. He will also star in Avengers: Doomsday, according to the latest cast-reveal event from Marvel Studios. Before that, he will return as Cousin Richie in FX's The Bear season 4 on Hulu. A premiere date has not been announced yet.
