Ja Rule, during a recent livestream on his ICONN app on November 23, recounted the events that led to him being attacked backstage at Brandy and Monica's show in New York City. Rule denied Max B's involvement in the incident.

Rule said,

"Leave Max B the f*** out of this. That man just came home...Y'all tryna get him locked up."

He also went on to criticize blogger Tasha K for spreading misinformation on the attack and said,

"Tasha K, fire your whole f**king research team. Just get rid of these n***s. They terrible. Matter of fact, keep them bus a** n***s so they don't get hired by nobody else."

Rule's criticism of Tasha K comes after the blogger earlier claimed that Ja Rule was jumped outside of New York restaurant Sei Less. After Tasha's version of the story went viral, Rule took to social media to call her a liar and also posted proof.

Ja Rule criticizes Tasha

Ja Rule, while responding to a tweet on X by Tasha K, said,

"Tasha why you lying to these good ppl. Yes some b**ch a** n***as tried to jump me. No it wasn't at sei less and I'm chilling smoking a joint watching SVP wit not a scratch on me...(laughing emoji)"

Tasha K, in response, said,

"Now @jarule you know my team was there. And I was halfway asleep last night when I got the text. I have the deets on what really happened & the location. I'm up now ready to spill some wine! I will discuss Fat Joe being too fat to help you fight last night tonight on my show! The video is at the end of the fight!"

She then continued,

"Ain't nobody got to lie Craig!!! Tonight we discuss Has Been Rappers getting jumped tonight at 7pm est on X, Facebook, BIGO & YouTube! Everything is allegedly! Even my name is allegedly!"

While Rule denied that the incident happened at a New York restaurant, he admitted that an incident took place at his concert, and that three men punched him from behind. He also addressed that if he were Bruce Springsteen, the assailants would not have made it out of the building without being arrested, and alleged that black artists are treated differently than white artists by the police at concerts.
