Is wrestler Syko Stu recovering following Raja Jackson’s in-ring assault? Brother gives health update

Syko Stu, a wrestler who was badly beaten in a ring by Raja Jackson on August 23, 2025, is now in the hospital. As per the reports by Cageside Seats, his brother says,

"He’s currently stable but in critical care. At this time we’re focused on his recovery and appreciate all the support."

His brother, Andrew Smith, wrote on August 25, 2025, that Syko Stu is awake and resting. He further said,

"Thank you everyone for your prayers, concerns, and kind words for my brother Stu. Please continue to keep him I your prayers."

The reports by TMZ state that the LAPD is now looking into what happened. The attack took place during a wrestling event. Raja Jackson, who is not a wrestler but an MMA fighter and the son of former UFC star Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, attacked Stu in the ring.

Syko Stu's health update and current condition

As per TMZ, Syko Stu is in the hospital. He is stable but still in critical care. This means his condition is serious, and his brother asked people to keep praying and offering support.

Reports by CBS Sports mention that a fellow wrestler, Douglas Malo, said that Stu was awake and talking after the incident. But he also has serious injuries like broken bones in his face and lost teeth.

His family is focused only on his healing. They said clearly,

"Also we currently do not have a GoFundMe set up, any links posted are not affiliated with us."

KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy, where the event happened, made a statement. They said,

"What was supposed to be a planned and agreed upon wrestling spot, turned into a selfish, irresponsible act of violence against Mr. Smith."

Raja's father, Rampage Jackson, also spoke out. He said,

"I don’t condone my son’s actions AT ALL! He suffered a concussion from sparring only days ago and had no business doing anything remotely close to physical contact."

The attack happened at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles on August 23, 2025, on a Saturday night. It was being streamed live on Kick. During the event, Syko Stu struck Raja with a beer can.
