Is Big Sean dating again after the split from Jhené Aiko? Rapper denies rumors of having a new girlfriend

Rapper Sean Michael Leonard Anderson, also known as Big Sean, has denied rumours that he is involved with someone.

On November 5, the Instagram account, ‘@noskipstea,’ posted a video in which Sean could be seen standing in front of a woman in a seemingly crowded room. The video was captioned:

“Damn! Big Sean Spotted wit Alleged New Girlfriend Afte Wasting Jhene Aiko's Time For 10 Years.”

The video in question is from YouTuber N3on’s stream. However, the rapper commented on the post, denying that he was with his new girlfriend. He wrote:

“Yeah unfortunately I never met this person in my life lol.”

In another comment, he explained:

“This girl was standing next to @hitboy who is cut out the video. I dont know why the f*ck she was so close to me though. I didnt see it at all til i saw this video and can understand the frustrations. Smh. But i dont even know this person at all.”

For the uninitiated, the rapper was in a relationship with singer Jhené Aiko for almost ten years. They also had a child in 2022. It is reported that the two have called off their relationship.

According to People Magazine, Big Sean and Aiko first crossed paths in 2012 and even attended a Lakers game together. In 2016, the two were seen sharing a kiss while on stage. Three years later, they took a break in their relationship but got back together. Jhené Aiko has a daughter, Namiko, whom she shares with her former partner O’Ryan.

Big Sean on pursuing music and being supported by his family

In August 2025, the rapper sat down with Jay Shetty on the latter’s podcast to discuss various moments from his life. Shetty asked him about the time he felt so worried that it affected his creativity and spirit. Big Sean said:

“I used to let the things I can't control, control me. You know what I mean? And it was very conditional. It was something that it's impossible to be successful in the business of pleasing everybody. Like just something that you might as well let go of now. And if you do please everybody, you're probably not going to be pleasing yourself.”

“I do feel that especially in entertainment and when you get an opportunity to be you, you got to understand like since I was 10, 11 years old, all I wanted to do was like be a rapper. That was like the only thing that I like wanted. And I did super good in school. I come from like a family of scholars. My mom is an English and social studies teacher.”

Big Sean said his grandmother was one of the first female captains of the Second World War. He said his grandfather was also in the Second World War. Despite being good in academics, he knew he wanted to make a career in music. He said his family respected his decision and even supported him. This made him realize that kids should not be controlled.
