Grades and parent-teacher conferences can be nerve-wracking for everyone, and Cardi B’s kids are no exception. The rapper might be sorting out the separation from her husband, but she is not compromising on her motherly duties.
According to Hotnehiphop, her daughter Kulture and son Wave have finished another year of school which means that it is now time to get their assessments.

On November 21, 2024, she took to her Instagram story where she shared her ways of keeping her kids on their toes before results and meetings while traveling in a car to a parent-teacher conference, according to People Magazine.
She warned her kids that she shouldn’t hear any complaints from the school about them. Cardi B said,
“iPads will be broken, phones will be thrown in the garbage, TVs will be disconnected, cables will be turned off. I am not playing. I am that type of mom.”
Nonetheless, there isn’t anything serious about these warnings as the rapper clarified that she was joking around. However, her kids’ academic performance matters to her and she is particular about how they behave at school. All she wanted to get was good feedback from Kulture and Wave’s teachers.
In September 2024, she welcomed her third baby with partner Offset, but they have not yet revealed the baby's name. On November 6, 2024, Cardi B shared a video flaunting diamond bracelets with her children's names, teasing fans with glimpses of her newborn's name while keeping it partially hidden. The bracelets revealed "Kulture," "Wave," and parts of the new name with letters "B," "L," "O," and "M."
In 2023, Cardi B gave a glimpse into her daily routine with her kids
Cardi B shared a behind-the-scenes compilation on TikTok of what her every day looks like with her kids when she is not working. In the background voiceover, she said she would start her day by checking her phone and then brushing her teeth while keeping the tap water in high flow.
Then, she got dressed and as she put on her shoes, her son demanded a playful moment with her. After that, she went downstairs to have some playtime with her children.
The video showed her arranging lunch for everyone as her house help went on spring break. She then took Kulture to the gym while her cousin took care of Wave at home.
When her gym session ended, she went to get dinner for her kids. They enjoyed a pizza night that day as Cardi B said she was tired. After dinner and once her kids were asleep, she headed to the studio, poured a drink, and likely focused on her music. In a Vogue Singapore piece from 2022, the rapper said,
“I have so much compassion and love and appreciation for all mothers in the world. There is no excuse, we have to do it. I have compassion for good mothers who get up and hustle and work, or even not work, having kids is work.”
Cardi B expressed strong disdain for absent parents, emphasizing that bringing a child into the world required preparation, as parents are everything a child has and needs.
