One year after losing her "lifer," Kim Kardashian turned her Instagram into a shrine of memories, honoring her late friend Lindsay May Palevsky with photos and a heartfelt message.
On Monday, Nov. 3, the reality star shared a poignant tribute to Palevsky on her first death anniversary.
The post included a throwback photo of Kim Kardashian's friend group that the celebrity has long considered her "lifers," as well as several snapshots of Kardashian with Palevsky.
"A year without you. The world paused on Nov 2nd and I know a part of the lifers went with you. Time feels strange without you here. We all see you in purple skies and butterflies. I love you forever, my lifer."
The last image shows the resting spot of Palevsky, who passed away on Nov. 2, 2024, due to a rare form of cancer, 13 years after she was first diagnosed.
Months after her death, Kim Kardashian honored her friend on her birthday with a heartfelt message on Instagram, sharing a carousel of images featuring the two of them along with their other friends.
"It was just your birthday and I know you never liked to make a big deal of it, but Happy Heavenly Birthday, Lindz"
The TV personality went on:
"I waited months to post this, mostly because I couldn’t find the right words. Nothing really captures how quiet and empty our lifers chat feels without you in it. I know you’d probably roll your eyes at me posting anything — especially since you didn’t really even have social media — but I couldn’t go through this lake trip without feeling you everywhere, and I needed to share it."

Kim Kardashian added that the lake was a special place in their hearts, a sanctuary where memories of her childhood friend came alive.
"The lake was your happy place. It made you feel lighter, healthier… you were you. It’ll always be our favorite lifers tradition because it’s where we spend time with all of our kids being together and get real time with each other without any outside noise. We felt your absence this year in every sunset, every laugh, every quiet moment."
Wrapping up her heartwarming post, Kim Kardashian expressed how much she was missing Palevsky and how her absence has changed their world.
"Looking back at these pictures from a year ago, I feel so grateful for all the memories we made since we were kids. We miss you so f***ing much, Lindz. Our world is not the same without you. I guess that’s why I hold onto this lake tradition so tightly. We’ll always have the lake — and in that, we’ll always have a piece of you."
