As part of singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter's tradition, she picks an audience member at every performance for her Short n’ Sweet Tour and arrests them for being too hot. Last night in Atlanta, the lucky guest was Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.

In footage circulating on social media, the Espresso singer can be heard saying:

"I'm really distracted right now because I see this gorgeous girl. I've fallen and I can't get up, this girl is so hot. Who are you and what is your name"

Cut to the camera panning to the newly married actress, who screams "Millie" into the camera.

Sabrina Carpenter continues talking as the audience begins hooting and screaming,

"Millie, I’ve never fallen in love at a concert before, but stranger things have happened. It’s so unfortunate we have to arrest you because you’re so beautiful. That sucks. Please arrest me.”

At Brown's insistence, she handed the cheering and visibly ecstatic actress a pair of furry brown handcuffs.

However, Sabrina Carpenter may have failed to notice that Noah Schnapp, Brown's Stranger Things co-star, was standing right there. As usual, the internet went ballistic, as many online were teeming with glee at witnessing their favorite icons interaction. Others, on the other hand, took notice of the seemingly honest mistake and poked fun. As one user commented,

"first i smiled because this is iconic then i laughed because she ignored noah schnapp."

Several others online took to X to tweet their thoughts on Sabrina Carpenter's antics:

"and noah gets nothing but dusts," another joked.
"That’s such a fun way to hype up the tour! Sabrina and Millie are both incredible talents, and I love the playful energy between them. Can't wait to see more!" another expressed.
"Sabrina's fun style! Millie impressed everyone with her style during her tour, winning everyone's hearts," someone else shared.
"Sabrina knows how to capture audience attention," one user pointed out.

Online, others were just happy to have their two favorite stars interact.

"Haha that's crazy! I think I'd freak out if someone got arrested for being too hot," one user penned.
"That’s hilarious! Sabrina’s playful banter with Millie adds so much fun to the tour. Love the clever reference too!" another shared.
"Sabrina’s got jokes and good taste! That ‘Stranger Things’ line was the real arrest," somebody else chimed in.

Sabrina Carpenter says her grandparents don't care she's bending over on camera

In speaking about the vilification she has been subjected to since she first catapulted to fame, as those before her have endured, Sabrina Carpenter said in a Times magazine interview from this October:

"No, I definitely get that as well. Someone told me this, whenever I would get upset or feel like I'm the only one getting criticized for something other people are able to do seemingly so freely: I'm the one that's seeing all the negative sh-t about myself. My friends don't see that.”

Sabrina Carpenter continued, reflecting on how she deals with the "occasional mother with a strong opinion on how you should be dressing."

"And to that I just say, don't come to the show and that’s OK. It's unfortunate that it's ever been something to criticize, because truthfully, the scariest thing in the world is getting up on a stage in front of that many people and having to perform as if it's nothing. If the one thing that helps you do that is the way you feel comfortable dressing, then that's what you’ve got to do.”

She also addressed the comments her fans make, saying, "I can’t believe she's bending over in front of her grandparents!” to that, the Please Please Please singer has one thing to say:

"I'm like, girl, they are not paying attention to that. They’re just like, I can’t believe all these people are here.”

Sabrina Carptenter's Short n' Sweet Tour began in September 2024 and will run through March 26, 2025. The singer will traverse North America and Europe to support her sixth studio album of the same name.
