Global pop sensation Taylor Swift, who is currently on the road for her Eras Tour, thanked her fans for appreciating her new look. During the Saturday, October 19 show, Swift, 34, took to the stage in outfits in contrast to the same red and black bodysuit she'd been wearing since the beginning. Clad in a sparkling blue gown with a plunging neckline, she said to the crowd at the Hard Rock Stadium:
"You are the most rewarding group of people to show a new outfit to because this is a brand new dress. I’ve never worn it before, and I just feel like you’ve noticed.”
She showed off her new ensemble while belting out an acoustic version of two surprise songs that night- a guitar tune of the Should've Said No, part of her 2006 album Taylor Swift, and something more recent like I Did Something Bad from 2017's Reputation. She continued, amid the cheering crowd:
"That’s really fun, that makes me happy.”
Taylor Swift shocks Swifites with an all-new wardrobe
Just a day earlier, on October 18, Taylor Swift wore a brand new black and golden bodysuit on the same stage in Miami that sent fans into a frenzy. After a two-month hiatus, the Are You Ready For It? singer donned a Roberto Cavalli one-leg bodysuit, featuring hissing snakes entangled across her body.
However, what caught fans' eye was the subtle manner in which a snake on the back formed a number 2, prompting many to think that a Reputation (Taylor's version) was imminent. The last time the Cruel Summer singer did something like this, she swapped out her Midnights outfit during her London concert, and, not long after, she dropped 1989 (Taylor’s Version).
Notably, that wasn't the only new outfit the singer had in store for fans, as she wore a never-before-seen silver fringed minidress as she belted out hits from her Fearless set. She then slipped into another, more ombre slash watercolor-esque dress, featuring shades of red, purple, and blue while delivering the acoustic versions.
Furthermore, the singer bestowed upon an auditorium packed with fans one last surprise: she brought out Florence Welch of Florence & The Machine. The two were seen harmonizing on stage as Swift dressed in an all-white ensemble, complete with matching gloves. The singer's white Vivienne Westwood ballgown featured lyrics strewn across the skirt as an added surprise.
The two shows on Friday and Saturday marked the beginning of the end of the massive Eras Tour. Having begun in March 2023, in Glendale, Arizona, the show has seen the singer traverse across the United States, South America, Australia, Asia, and Europe in the last year and a half alone. Now, for the final leg, Taylor Swift will wrap up the tour in New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto, and Vancouver.
