Hugh Grant, 64, encountered an "intrusive, insulting and creepy" experience while travelling with his family recently. The Grant family faced an unanticipated situation at London's Heathrow Airport.
According to the Notting Hill actor's post on X (formerly Twitter), he claimed that an immigration officer asked his kids about whether Hugh and his wife were his parents.
On April 4, Hugh Grant shared this unforeseen scenario that he and his family dealt with at the airport on the internet.

Here's how Hugh Grant reacted to the unwelcome approach by the immigration officer
According to his X post, he was travelling with his wife Anna Eberstein and their kids, John Mungo, 11, Lulu Danger, 8, and Blue, 6, as per a report by US Weekly.
While slamming the Heathrow airport's officer, he stated that his wife and children use Grant as their last name on their passports.
The Bridget Jones star wrote:
"Just came through Heathrow with wife and children. We all have the same last name (Grant) on our passports."
Reflecting on the unexpected encounter on April 4, Hugh Grant called it "insulting." He further wrote:
"Immigration officer engages my children in chit chat then whispers to them "Are these your Mum and Dad?” Intrusive, insulting and creepy."
According to a People Magazine report, a Heathrow Airport spokesperson stated that the Home Office is responsible for employing Border Force officers. The airport does not get involved in this process.
Hugh Grant shares five children with two women
Hugh Grant is the father of five kids. He shares two children from his past relationship with Tinglan Hong. They welcomed daughter Tabitha Xiao, 13, and son Felix Chang, 11.
The Golden Globe Awards-winning star married his wife, Elisabet Eberstein, in 2018. The couple is parents to three kids: John, Lulu, and Blue.
Grant spoke on the SmartLess podcast and shared his thoughts about experiencing fatherhood in his 50s and 60s. He said,
"I had them much too old in life you know, I started when I was 52. Now I'm 64, you know, and the youngest is 6, and I need a long stint in a sanatorium or an abbey."
Recalling the time he and his wife were naming their daughters, Grant talked about how he experienced "a bit of a panic" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last year.
"I was in a bit of a panic with my wife on the day we named [Lulu], and we thought it might be nice for her when she was older if she could say in bars that her middle name was danger, so her name is Lulu Danger Grant."
Reflecting on how they decided the name Blue, Hugh Grant shared,
"I panicked about names with my wife, so we asked her elder brother [son John Mungo] when she was on the way."
John loves Kevin the Minion and suggested the name for his sister. Though Grant and his wife liked the name, Mungo came up with a better recommendation after they asked him,
"You better think of something else."
Later, he decided on the name Blue "because it was his favorite color."
