Declared by Time in 2021 as one of the 100 most influential people in the world, Lost in Translation star Scarlett Johansson is once again about to host Saturday Night Live. The Academy Award-nominated actress will take the stage for the iconic sketch show’s Season 50 finale on May 17, 2025.

Fans of the classic sketch comedy variety show who have followed SNL over the years know that this isn’t the first—or even the second—time Johansson is hosting. Netizens are immensely curious to know exactly how many times Scarlett Johansson has hosted Saturday Night Live.

One of the highest-paid actresses in the world, Scarlett Johansson has been part of numerous successful mainstream and independent films. She has already hosted Saturday Night Live six times—and this year will mark her seventh time hosting the American late-night sketch-comedy show.

The Black Widow star made her debut as host on Saturday Night Live in 2006. She then returned a number of times over the years: in 2007, 2010, 2015, 2017, 2019—and now again in 2025.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, Jurassic World Rebirth also features Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, and Luna Blaise. It revolves around the character of Zora Bennett, played by Johansson, who—along with a highly skilled team of operatives—visits the island from the original Jurassic Park. However, things take a different turn when they make an unexpected discovery that has been kept secret for decades.

Now, coming back to the promo—which interestingly parodies the Jurassic Park franchise—it runs a little over a minute. It features not only Johansson but also her husband, Colin Jost (with whom she shares a son, Cosmo), along with Sarah Sherman, Mikey Day, and Heidi Gardner.
