Dwight Howard, who has five children from his relationships with five different women, married Amy Luciani earlier this year but is now reportedly divorced, according to Daily Dose of Black Girl Magic. The outlet's Instagram post states that Amy Luciani recently filed for divorce from the NBA legend.

According to People Magazine, Dwight Howard and Amy Luiciani, who is a rapper, kept their relationship private until they announced their engagement on December 20, 2024. According to ScreenRant, Dwight was previously married to Los Angeles Sparks player Te'a Cooper, to whom he got engaged in 2019. The couple later tied the knot in 2020 but separated in 2021.

Dwight Howard has five children from his past relationships. According to People Magazine, he and his then-girlfriend, Royce Reed, welcomed his first child, a son named Braylon, in November 2007. The couple allegedly met while Howard was playing for the Orlando Magic, where Reed worked as a cheerleader. According to Hot New Hip Hop, although the couple now are both involved in raising their son, Royce Reed previously claimed in an interview in 2023 that the former eight-time All-Star player had allegedly offered her money so that she would not claim Braylon to be his son. She said:

"This man offered me a massive amount of money to say that Braylon was not his. That they would pay for my house, they would pay off any debt that I had, that they would give me a certain amount of money a month if I said that it wasn't his."

Besides this, the former couple has also argued over custody of their son. According to Essence, Howard once picked up his young son from daycare without notifying Reed, which caused more disagreements. The reality TV star was charged with child neglect in 2011 after Braylon was allegedly caught engaging in inappropriate conduct with another young boy.

In 2010, Dwight Howard welcomed his second child, a daughter named Layla, with Tiffany Render. According to an interview with In Touch Magazine, the couple allegedly met in 2008 and initially maintained a good relationship while raising their daughter. However, they later engaged in a difficult court battle, after which Howard was awarded primary custody of his teenage daughter in 2024. Talking about their relationship, Render said:

“I was probably the only baby mama that was close to him and stayed his friend. I thought that kept me safe. I felt safe."

After their breakup, Render, who maintained a private life away from the spotlight, later got married in 2015. She further added:

“He was never a great father. I made excuses about it to our daughter."

Howard welcomed his fourth child, Dwight Howard III, in 2013 with his then-girlfriend, gospel singer Christine Vest. According to Hot New Hip Hop, Vest, who largely stays out of the spotlight, wrote a lengthy message on her Instagram Story, allegedly accusing the former Washington Wizards player of neglecting their son. She claimed that he left him with a babysitter for two months while he had custody. She wrote:

"Imagine watching the love of your life or someone you care/cared about become a terrible parent, ignore their child's emotional needs for the sake of ego and pride and literally leave their other child to be taken care of by a babysitter for, say, 2 months. Imagine they Ignore their children and neglect speaking to them. Would you root for them if they won anything? Would you support that person publicly?"

Dwight Howard welcomed his youngest child, David Howard, in December 2013, with real estate agent Melissa Rios. Although Rios initially shared primary custody of their child, she tragically passed away in 2020 from an epileptic seizure, after which Howard was awarded primary custody. According to Bleu Mag, the couple had dated briefly, and after her death, the former Atlanta Hawks player released a statement saying:
