Jennifer Lawrence and her husband, Cooke Maroney, have another baby on the way, Vogue reported. The actress shares a two-year-old son, Cy, with Maroney.

The duo have been married since 2019, and were out for dinner celebrating their fifth anniversary on October 19 in LA. It was then that Lawrence was spotted with a baby bump underneath a La Ligne T-shirt and sweater.

Lawrence, 34, and Maroney, a 40-year-old art director, began dating in 2018. The latter popped the big question in February of the following year, and come October, the duo tied the knot at the Belcourt of Newport mansion in Rhode Island. After suffering a miscarriage, the pair welcomed their first-born son in February 2022.

Jennifer Lawrence says she wants to protect her kids' "privacy for the rest of their lives"

As per an article published by Elle back in September 2022, Jennifer Lawrence suffered a miscarriage when she and her husband were trying for children. She revealed it took place while she was filming for Don't Look Up, forcing her to undergo a D&C procedure to remove the dead tissue.

In speaking about her pregnancy and disapproval of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the actress shared that she had a "great pregnancy," and a "very fortunate pregnancy." That same month, in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, the actress reflected on newfound motherhood:

"It's so scary to talk about motherhood. Only because it's so different for everybody. If I say, It was amazing from the start, some people will think, It wasn’t amazing for me at first, and feel bad. Fortunately, I have so many girlfriends who were honest. Who were like, It’s scary. You might not connect right away. You might not fall in love right away. So I felt so prepared to be forgiving."

She continued, recanting the morning after she gave birth. She felt like her "whole life had started over" and that she was "just so in love."

"I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing. They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors. Now I love all babies. Now I hear a baby crying in a restaurant and I’m like, Awwww, preciousssss."

In speaking about keeping her pregnancy private, Jennifer Lawrence said in an interview with Vanity Fair in 2021,

“If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’ But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can. I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are notorious for keeping their personal lives private, but in 2022, the Hunger Games actress revealed that her son is named after the American painter Cy Twombly. Only time will tell what the couple names their second child.
